This sounds reasonable than that useless charade arranged by NEDG. Buhari and his team will surely accept this debate. I know Jonathan will surely decline this debate. |

I have a bad feeling about this debate... They should leave Buhari alone nor be by force abeg... Nigerians are not free thinkers and will not even appreciate the outcome of the debate sef, so why waste money and time on debates? Debates are meant to affirm the confidence one has on a candidate but Nigerians will rather vote because they have defaulted their thinking to the theory of a majority... |

Now is the time to show; the man who is a strategist the man who can address his people the man who is not afraid of challenges the man who can stand opposition the man who is sure of himself No excuses this time. Anyone who 'chickens' out is a chicken for chop! |

Buhari is confident but very shallow on Nigeria's issues. He's all about locking people up and 1970's economic parameters- exchange rate and inflation. Jonathan on the other hand lacks confidence and I don't even know how much he knows about Nigeria's issues, or if he knows anything at all. And he's the President o. Looking forward to the debate. Will be comic. Mr old and shallow vs Mr dull and clueless, the best materials Nigeria has to offer at this stage of our national life 3 Likes |

APC dimwits say even Awo, Zik, GEJ had once refused presidentisl debates , therefore it's not wring of Buhari ignores presidential debate now. Classical case of two wrongs making a right in APC cirles. |

Presidential debate has never anywhere in the world featured their respective running mates to debate on the same. It should be the presidential candidates only! Not only PDP and APC; all the eligible presidential candidates must debate on the supposed neutral platform. |

HNosegbe: I don't think GMB is running away from the debate, afterall if you recall he attended the debate during 2011 elections that GEJ did not attend (only to organize and debate himself alone). 1 Like |
