A former minister of petroleum and energy, Professor Tamuno David-West, has insinuated that President Goodluck Jonathan does not have a doctorate degree from the University of Port Harcourt as widely believed.

The respected scholar, who disclosed this in Asari Toru, Rivers State, at the governorship rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC), asserted that all efforts to trace the thesis for which Jonathan was awarded a Ph.D in Zoology by the University of Port Harcourt, yielded no result.

David-West then admonished Rivers people to vote for Dakuku Peterside who had not lied about his academic qualifications, stressing that “Dakuku Peterside is God-fearing and without the fear of God, we cannot move forward, both at the state and federal level.”
