detain does not mean prison. He was on house arest in daura. People were allowed to see him but he was not allowed to go out.

I understand your anger but the poster made some valid points.

The treasury looters are very many. They cut accross all tribes, religion and region.
They have become very powerful due to their stupendous amount of looted money, and their access to power through the Jonathan presidency.
They are ready to deploy every resources at their disposal to mar the outcome of this election if the feel so sure to go to jail under a Buhari presidency.
If you ask me, I think they'll have their way if Buhari fails to outsmart them by making some concessions.

It is certain that some people will surely go on exile after the election result.

Sambo Dasuki is an elder brother to my secondary school classmate Sa'adatu. Their dad was the former Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki who was dethroned during Abacha's administration in 1996.
