It is so unfortunate and the younger ones are not seeing the hand writings on the wall. It is not about the election or political party, it is about a group of people intoxicated by power and wealth through corruption and greed. They are determined to fucck all Nigerians from the back irrespective of the tribe and religion and some people are blind to see the catastrophic effects. Once these continues, our political atmosphere and system is rubbished and destroyed, its not for today alone but this will continue and the average Nigerian will no longer have a say not to talk about making a sound.

All Nigerians have been cheated just by just a few because of the love of power. Our democracy should be allowed to Metamorphosize and the system allowed to grow and Nigerians have a sense that every vote count under a constant atmosphere.

The danger is, if this government gets away with this and a set of region is happy, the tide will change someday and a worst leader will come and serve a more harder hot meal that will make the region anguished for a long time and they will be left to suffer alone.

Remember they don't know how you are suffering or you exist

Punch is APC. APC is Punch.

Punch people must have believed that all the false information they dish out daily against President Jonathan for APC supporters who throng on Punch site must make Jonathan lose if elections were not postponed.

If Punch is Nigeria Army, it would have organized a coup against Jonathan govt long ago.

Sorry, I did not care to read a line of this Punch editorial - because I know the editorial must be from the pit of APC latrine.

The looming darkness that was valentine's day has been averted...and we must thank the good graces of Mr President and his war chiefs for this achievement before overseeing the small matter of easing partisan Jega out, installing credibility back to INEC thereby allowing free and fair elections without almajiri underaged voters and/or disenfranchising of non-indigenes in Lagos.....

It is so obvious what GEJ and his cohorts have planned, they want to hold on to power at all cost. GEJ should remember that it was Nigerians that stood behind him during happenings after Yar' adua's death, and it's this same people that he is trying to short changed.
The more reason I don't want him to rule me any more, he's not smart and a big pretender.

Like play like play, our govt is engaging in a macabre dance and we the citizens are simply choosing sides. Our recent history ought to remind us that what affects the eyes will surely reflect on the nose but we have chosen to be forgetful.

I hope those who rode into power on the back of citizen action will remember the same citizens in their calculations and scheming to retain power at all cost. If anything, Jonathan has proved the long standing truth that

"Never you vouch for a man's character until you give him access to money and power"

The 'humble christian' man is showing he learnt very well from his mentors

Mentors like Buhari the humble muslim man, abi

There is no looming darkness, We are securing the country for a more credible election.

Shame to the propagandists!
We don't need negative change, we need positive transformation.
It is not about Buhari or APC. But the animalistic behavior of Jonathan is worrisome.

"Worried, American President, Barack Obama, dispatched his Secretary of State, John Kerry, to Jonathan to lend his weight to calls by the opposition and other Nigerians that the polling dates should stay. Hiding behind a finger, Jonathan only made a woolly statement to the American diplomat that the May 29 swearing-in date “is sacrosanct.” ---- Punch.

How many times do Nigerians and their presidents tell Americans how to conduct their general elections?

Because of hatred for Jonathan arising from your religious or ethnic bigotry, you want Nigeria now to have a puppet of a president in the name of Buhari who foreign interests shall tell sign, and he will sign, without looking at the heading - like they used to do it all the decades until 1999.

You know in 9ja, na gra-gra people dey call clever. That's why even smaller countries like Ghana, Botswana frequently outsmart us in international appointments and many more. They use cunning & subtle tactics while we go about it grandstanding and beating our chest.

him on can predict the outcome.
This is so on point
There is nothing like a dangerous zone embarassed.
All the ploy of Hausa- Fulani with born to rule mentality trying to rig the election through JEGA have been busted.

This is the best editorial I'm reading from Punch since a long while ago. It speaks the truth! Its such a pity some hard-headed guys would not even take a minute to read the article, they just comment once they see it's not in support of their candidate.
