this is how she should explain, "son, what you saw me did to your dad is what we call oral medication. I was giving your dad an oral medicine prescribed by the doctor. You have to first swallow the medicine and drink a little water then you pump it with your mouth into the genitals. It is very painful son and it is for very sick adults. Shekena cool

Yeah until he tells his teachers, friends and your own family friends you can heal them when ever they are sick just like you heal his dad? grin

Medicine after death!

Why did they not lock the door.
They have exposed the children to something awful.
Those kid`s are so young.
What do they want to explain, that they were putting in the baby through the mouth angry

You have to be extremely careful with kids and how you go about explaining these things to them.

When one of my sons was younger he asked the dad how babies are made and my husband answered they were a gift from God.

He pondered over it and came to me, told me what his dad said and asked me if it was true.
When I said yes he had this really disgusted look on his face.

" mama you mean God goes around putting his hand in all the women`s bum bum to put in the babies" undecided

When I explained to him how it really awful he was visibly relieved. cheesy

The parent are very careless why do you have locks on doors if you would not use it in the first place.

I know of a child that had the same issue, forget that picture played in him for ever.

As a matter of fact I know of a child that stumbled on his parents watching porn as well in the living room andthe tvTV was a 42 iinch size.

As I speak that child grew up and that sight was with him all his life.

Sex to him his like drinking water.

Parents should be more careful and more responsible.

And pray that the kids will over come it in a good way period

The scene is stored in their photographic memory but I will suggest the father and mother have a serious talk with the kids so it won't be always replaying in the kids brain. Let them realise that such thing is meant for dad and mom only. Also teach your kids to always knock at the door and enter only when there is a response. Tell dad and mom to always lock the door from behind when next action wants to take place. No more careless quickie because of the kids.
#Dad was disciplining mom when the kids rushed in.

'goodmorning, papalette. i have something to ask because it's bothering a friend. her 7yr old twin sons ran into the master bedroom when their parents were having sex without knocking. actually, they saw how their mum was giving dad a bj. though they left when dad shouted at them, their parents are disturbed and doesnt know how to go about it with the kids.how to advise or explain things to the curious kids'

A lot will depend on the intelligence and level of exposure of the kids. They may not even have understood what was going on! Let the parents call them and try to find out how much they saw, or if the understood what they saw. If they didn't see much, then there's no need to explain anything. Just warn them to knock next time. If they did, its best to tell them that it is something that should only happen between daddy and mummy. It would be harmful if children did it, infact they could get their D bitten off. i.e it is harmful for kids. ........ Anything to scare them from attempting such act. If they pretend like it didn't happen, i see those kids giving each other bj very soon

The parents should not pretend to be clueless or act like it never happened. As awkward as it may be, they should talk it through because kids can come to all sorts of conclusions.
At that point, you teach the child a certain level of sex education and then you progress as time goes on.

Teach them manners too - knock, get a response before entering.

what is rude there?. They are kids, the parents should have locked the door, they are no longer alone, for Christ sake there are kids in the house.

Those parents na wao for them, they should have locked the door undecided for anyone with kids , we all know kids could just bulge in the room sometimes unannounced. Am not saying its a good practice though but kids are kids.

Just tell them " daddy is not feeling too well; he had a fracture around his waistline. Junior, you saw me massaging daddy, right?

I guess such polite comment will disabuse their minds aabout what they actually saw. You can even tell them to say " daddy! Sorry. How are you feeling?"

NB: OP, abeg mek una dey lock door next time.
Re: Their Children Saw Them Having Sex- Should They Be Bothered? by Nobody: 10:38pm On Feb 10, 2015
Useless and stupid Parents. This may just be the Genesis of impaired sexual orientation for those kids, children are very smart and very fast learners, from this stage now they will start wondering why mum was doin a BJ, awful dirty thoughts will start charging through their minds and before you know it, Either early impregnating Or Porn addiction Or Masturbating Or Homosexualism may just be the resultant reality for these innocent souls. In this case, I don't think talking to them would do much considering their tender age, it will be too early to start telling them about sex. My advice to them is that they should be more closer to d kids now, watching closely and observing any form of change in their behaviour and above all, pray for God's mercy to help their weakness as regards their mistake. May Our Dear Lord help them.

I always advise parents to check that they've locked their bedroom door (and install a lock if one is missing), I also tell them not to be devastated by a surprise visit.

Such an experience may be embarrassing, but the best approach is to remain calm and matter-of-fact. Parents can say, "We are having some private time together and we would like you to leave the room. Please be sure to close the door."

Parents should also go to the child to ask what he saw -- or thought he saw -- and to invite questions or offer reassurance about what has happened. A 3-year-old might wonder if anyone was being hurt (based on the sounds and actions), so it's a good idea to reassure him. No parent should feel ashamed of sex. Parents carry around the thought that they shouldn’t be doing this. If you just disappear and say nothing, then sex becomes a secret, and children don’t like secrets. kids are not necessarily traumatized by witnessing their parents doing it. “They may be shocked, or they might even think you’re fighting. Kids can come to all sorts of conclusions.” There could be many different ways to explain it, depending on your child’s level of knowledge.

my cousin's two kids were six and eight when they caught her and her husband doing the deed. Her husband’s panicked response? “Mommy and I are playing hide and seek!”

“The funny thing is,” says my cousin, “the kids then jumped on the bed on top of us — they wanted to play, too!” She doesn’t think her children realized what was really going on. To prevent a repeat incident, her husband recently put locks on their bedroom door.
