I admire those who have the gut to speak their minds at all time and this is good for our democracy. Anyone who think that some of these retired military officers who fought for and bled for Nigera will fold their arms and watch our country disintegrate is delusional. It was Danjuma, now OBJ and the list will keep growing until our service chiefs know that they cannot play with the future of our beloved people and country. 1 Like |

criminalmindz:. What we need is an end to this failed experimental geographical expression called Nigeria. We're tired of oil & oil blocks unity. It's not working. Only the elite loot. A country that cannot agree on anything. We cannot conduct acceptable census. We cannot conduct peaceful elections. We're divided along ethnic and religious lines. Only a mad man mixes oil & water and expect good miscibility. 2 Likes |

koikoi2:my brother, it is deeply depicted by both bible and quoran that holistic respect should be given to elderly one, regardless of status.hence, seek for forgiveness from God on disguise obasanjo. secondly, try to deplete the sentimental mind you may have toward electioneering proceedings. truly, nigeria needs transformation at all sectors, so, let team up as a Nigerian in ensuring voracious development encapsulates the land. |

free2ryhme: So to you, what is good for the goose is NOT good for the gander. OBJ lacks moral justification to judge GEJ style of governance. OBJ gave himself a second tenure and gave Yaradua his failed third term project. Were you a kid in 2007 and 2011. If this is tantamount to derailing the thread, kindly advice the old to save some respect for himself by ceasing to derail another mans government. OBJ is not the only surviving past head of state.. IBB and abdulsalami abubakar never interfered with his government. Gowon, Shagari, IBB, Alex Ekwueme and Abdulsalami are all still alive. This old man is making himself contemptible to the sane mind. IBB brought him from.prison and made him civilian president but never for.one day interfered with his govt. If OBJ isnt exchanging words with Atiku, it is GEJ or some other person. Is he a TOUT ? |

Re: Obasanjo Warns Of Coup, Isn't That Treasonable? by stankezzy: 11:02am On Feb 11, 2015 |
OrlandoOwoh:oga I no sure say u know wetin be coup. coup is not chasing away the incumbent from government house but other high and low military officers to agree with ur plan.mind you that the coup the middle belt did , Gideon orka, they have susseded in chasing away babangida while other generals refused, which led to counter coup and killing of orka. In the 80s why it was very easy for hausas to do coup was that , they the northern generals make up almost 80 % of Nigerian senior military force. While the middle belt are the majority in the junior rank. obasanjo is the first president to start equating power to all the region's , he was the one that shared Nigerian ammunition into 4 basic regions easth-enugu west-lagos north-kaduna south-porthercurt in this jonathan administration , he promoted a lot of easterner eg- ihejirika and others, in South current chief of army staff and others. We all know that the middle belterns are angry that the north are using and dumping them. so if u do coup now , let's say the north , know it quite well that other regions will oppose it and counter it resulting in war which will not be like biafran war where they fought with bare hands. and also know that other regions except may be yorubas will join the north in the fight. The foot solders eg middle belts , no go rush out like before to die for the North. SO COUP IS INPRACTICAL AND UNTHINKABLE, IF OBASANJO SAID IT , HE IS NOT LEAVING WITH REALITY. 2 Likes |

OrlandoOwoh:which stupid loyalty, u think the army is made up of sentimental retards, this is an institution with a very high level of discipline, pple whom av sworn an oath to protect the unity of nigeria and not 2 display loyalty to some old men out there.....sure, ur obj n co might have d loyalty of negligible percentage of guys in d army, bt nt enuf 2 stage a coup if at all u know what it takes 2 stage a coup in a country as big as nigeria in this modern day. Lemme educate u a little, The easiest coup in nigeria is a palace coup , and in this case, all d service chiefs n palace personnels r very loyal 2 d current goverment, check all the failed coup in nigeria and u wil see y its hard 2 plan a coup 4rm the outside. 1 Like |

free2ryhme: I guess you alone are the "majority" that has rejected Jonathan and accepted Buhari. Someone would just sit in his small room and decide what millions of people he has never met would do. So you have gone to Enugu or Benue or Taraba or even Ibadan to get the opinions of the "majority " in these places before arriving at your useless conclusion? You think Nigeria begins and ends in your small circle of like-minded family and friends? What a joker. 1 Like |
