In other countries, by law he would be arrested and if found guilty be thrown in jail.

This man's case looks worse than the Korean lady (flying first class) that delayed a flight from US to KOREA because an air hostess onboard did something.

The Korean lady was sentenced to jail when she landed in Korea.

That man should be giving hero's welcome.

RevDesmondJuju:

Nonsense

Flight cancellations and delays are a reoccuring incidence globally

How does this concern govt?

But not for silly reasons like the plane is on ground, no crew, the plane has been on ground, no fuel etc and there are not one off cases, they occur frequently.

If you are not in a hurry or jobless, fly arik

Na lie they will not touch him because he is fighting for his rights. How can you pay for a service that is not delivered and be expected not to do anything. They should be able to inform people and look for alternatives for customers. In those countries they would actually fine the airline, It's not the first time.

Oga wetin you de talk. Abeg go and check the other case I quoted before you talk gibberish. There are established rules and procedures that must be followed.

No matter how wrong the airline is, you (an individual) cannot obstruct an aircraft from push back and taxiing okay

the aggrieved passangers are slinging shots at the frustrated passenger for standing on the runway..without any considerations what the rogue passenger must have felt..blame the system and not the man.He has everyright to stand on the runway.i guess he wasnt percified for all flight cancellations. imagination missing a good contract meeting because of unwarranted flight delays and cancellations ...

No a message must be sent that is the message. Well I don't engage in argument that people can't stop abnormalities.

Fine arik may not run the desired kind of operations, but the passenger has surely gone overboard and may be ban from flying. Airlines have right to cancel flght, the issue should be what redress should the passenger seek as a result...surely one of them is not running to stop flights...he may regret that for the rest of his life.

Did you read that nonsense you typed above before hitting "submit"?
