Imagine what you are saying. What experience does Arthur Eze have on the military to "legitimate" his preference to other security chiefs and retired generals? We all saw a picture and video of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (before he became a head of state) during the government Shehu Shagari buying arms and other military hardwares on behalf of Nigeria. Why was Awolowo, Azikiwe, Ciroma, Okadigbo, Abiola or Clark not given the contract?

Arthur Eze has been handling defence contracts not only for Nigeria but also other African countries before even you were conceived.

All which companies are under which 'Pentagon'?
What is Pentagon? A business outfit for realising profit? Or you have no idea what Pentagon means?
Google the list of companies and free yourself from the shackles of blind ignorance. Boeing is one of their affiliates. Are you trying to say that the US DOD controls Boeing?? Hahahahahagrin
Of course, one person has to chair a company, and someone has to have the highest face value in a company. But like I said, it is stu.pid to think an individual can grab such contract. Evidence of ground suggests that the company got it and I choose to believe evidence, not the phantasmagoric dreams of APC fanatics or media spokesmen.

Lol. Let me ask you a few questions:

- Does Boeing Defense, Space & Security need approval from Pentagon and White House to sell weapons to any foreign country - yes or no?

- Why didn't the US defence company Nigeria was trying to procure military aircraft from go ahead with it, after it was vetoed by the US government?

Only in Nigeria and corrupt countries will individuals be awarded sensitive defence contracts.

What is the function of the Ministry of Defence or the Nigerian Air Force in providing the necessary equipments needed?

This kind of contract is only given after proper 'due diligence' have been carried out, unfortunately, we don't do such processes in Nigeria.

Little wonder, some individuals are hell-bent on President Jonathan being elected, because they are only there for their own sakes.

It would be appropriate if some individuals here can cross checked the websites of Triax Company Nig Ltd owned by Arthur Eze and asked themselves questions if they can do business with such an organisation.

Now we know why the Boko Haram insurgency have not been curtailed.

Triax company has been handling defence contracts before you were born. Most Nigerian companies apart from those in finance and the multinationals do not have good online presence.

Triax hhandled more than 90% of the contracts for the installation of FM radio stations across the country in the 70s and 80s

Let me reply your question with another question.
1. Is that the only business venture that Boeing operates?
2. Was the US military the reason Mr. Boeing began making airplanes in the first place?

If you have 'No' as an answer to either of the above, you have no point. Triax are doing business for the Nigerian military, with the permission of the Nigerian government. Triax are not known to have performed such services for any other country. So, what exactly is your problem with a 'Nigerian' company taking a 'Nigerian' order?
If however, you feel there is something phoney about the deal, try to save up some money and build your own company, then register it to satisfy Nigerian weapons demand only. If you're waiting for the military to finance you, then you need serious lessons from Mr Boeing.

What's the correlation between the defence industry and Boeing Commercial Airplanes? And why are you asking me if that's the only company Boeing operates, when the discourse is about the defence industry?

You've got time for dolts...from the word go you should've known that the dude has no clue about military hardwares. Mouthing off about shareholders and balderish yappings on pentagon not being a business venture. They think everywhere is a banana Republic like Nigeria.

SU 27/30 goes for approximately $45 mil apiece and they are getting Pumas for $70 mil, it takes an extra effort to be this daft I tell ya.

$500 should even be more than enough to get the at least 7 SU27/30 and 7 Pumas apiece with ease. But these plonkers rinsed $500 million on just 7 Pumas after grossly over-inflating the price-per-unit by over 400%.

It just shows how wasteful and utterly corrupt these fvckers are. Yet they keep saying the country has no money to buy weapons and modernise the army.

Stop exposing ya illiteracy everywhere.

The government of a country controls the defence industry of that country. There's a UN treaty for that. You can't sell/buy weapons without the government in any country.

US defence companies do everything under Pentagon, hence the US can veto arms sale to any country. Ditto UK weapons industry and MOD. I'm done with you...you'll never learn.

Has BAE ever sold any weapons without the knowledge of the MOD and Downing Street?

And when did the MOD ever buy weapons from other countries via BAE?

Things Must Change. We can continue being a means to satisfying the greed of people like Arthur Eze. I knew the day he was at Onitsha raining insults here and there, he was in it for his pocket.

Things must Change in Nigeria for the better. Sai Buhari.

Wow! I am glad to see that you just didn't shout "Change" or Sai Buhari!"... but you added " ... for the better"... maybe you might be Igbo afterall, using your head.

But you seem to still be missing the point, if you believe that Buhari is "Change for the better... "
Did you watch the youth PDP v. APC debate?, see how APC is talking tall tales that we have heard time and time from politicians, not just in Igbo land, but Nigeria as well... what I am trying to get to is this:

Ndigbo, with the commencement of GEJ's administration, have not be "take back"... but rather have "move forward..."

Do you agree or disagree? I'd like to start with that direct question...

GEJ's administration has in all indices of development and progress, given the Igbos a sense of belonging in Nigeria.
Yes or no.

(and if this story is true, I condemn it in its totality and I wish more honest men and women of integrity ran the shows... but given the debt of corruption in Nigeria, what I will call for is for a purge of the instistutions, a re-orientation of our collective psyche as Nigerians, these efforts will inevitable be engineering in the transformation of Nigeria and Nigerians. There is no quick fix to corruption. Knee-jerk reactions lead nowhere, but will just make people learn to be smarter thieves instead of patriotic and self-less citizens of our great country.

I have said more than I intended to. Back to my question to you, do you agree that GEJ has been more helpful to the Igbos than any other past president, dead or alive, contesting or not lol).

A company that shares the same name, logo and even delivers its financial report under one name, Boeing, and he still questions the relationship. I'd better stopped there before he asks me of the relationship between Dangote Cement and Dangote Foods too.. Having to answer that would be madnessgrin

To Saharareporters, it would've been preferable if the contract was won by either a former military General, Otedola, Adenuga or Dangote.

What I was expecting was the shortcuts in the contract publications, bidding processes, NSA denial of certification.

Was there gross negligence of due process and associated presentations of paperworks?

The contract was awarded to Authur Eze is not a sad news nor is it unlawful.

Like I said here and offline, people like you, not all (most especially from the East) have made this country to remain in this sorry state. The moment Igbo name is mentioned in any fraudulent engagements/contracts in this country, all you guys usually do is to stand and fight on behalf on these corrupt Igbo contractors and politicians. Shamefully, It is obviously stated in that article that the contract was inflated and the speed at which the contract was awarded was not consistent with the normal/due process but u failed to see all that just cos you want to blackmail others with your tribal rhetoric............. What a pity!!!!!

However, the good thing about this is that, you guys are reaping d benefit and result of your failed politicians and contractors in the East just like every other Nigerians.

I have read different articles in recent months about corrupt Nigerian politicians (Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani) from different fora online but one thing always stand out whenever this corrupt topic comes up and that thing is tribal rhetoric from Igbos (not all but few); these guys usually blackmailed others with tribal rhetoric.

Finally, the good thing about this repulsive behaviours is that the same corrupt Igbo politicians are your leaders and they ll continue to hold you guys down just like Hausas/Fulanis have held their people down over the years.
