Nigerians should do something about this wicked compny called Arik, few days ago we read news about the poor state of their seat in the aircraft yet they went ahead to overbooked the aircraft again yesterday. Are there no human right agency in this country?

I don't think so, because the picture was taken from the front, and all the passengers were facing front, if those people just got inside the plane then they should not all be facing front.
It is more like the plane just arrived and people got up waiting for the door to open, but then it looks like all the seats were still occupied

I agree with you. There is no way any Pilot will take off with passengers standing to their destination. How will the Cabin Crew members perform their duties with passengers blocking the aisle? I don't believe that it happened.

Before an airplane can generate lift, pilots have to do some series of calculations to factor in
passengers weigh, weigh of luggage and then amount of fuel on board.
A plane with that excess weigh like that will never lift off the ground....

An Arik flight that was scheduled to leave Abuja to Lagos by 2pm yesterday kept being delayed until it was ready to leave by 9pm. When they were ready to go, the flight was overbooked. They sold more tickets than the number of seats that they have, leaving many passengers standing on the plane. In 2015, Arik Air! *sigh*!

But the aircraft hasn't left the airport as at the time of writing this report. Sokoto and Yola passengers went to block the aircraft from leaving because their flight that was supposed to leave for 9am that same day was canceled by 9pm. See more photos after the cut...

@aorforce 1 even if they overbooked passengers they must come down by appealing to them for another arrangement or call aviation securities to get them out of the aircraft

Bro as 4 seat bookin,dont doubt it cos I xperienced it. Abt 10 seats including mine had 2 pessengers for a seat.
