This is not governorship elections. What are they protesting? That a mass murderer should be declared the winner? Unless the so called protest is as it regrds the senatorial seats otherwise they should be rounded up and dumped into some dingy jails. 11 Likes |

Ngwakwe: Be sure brother because its true. INEC office is surrounded. Jonathans fall will start from Rivers State, spread into Imo and Akwa Ibom before it explodes nationwide. They need to allow the wishes of Nigerians prevail. Buhari has large following in Imo, Rivers and Akwa Ibom. 1 Like |

Abagworo: why are you guys trying to force Buhari down our throats You are not even interested in letting INEC announce results! I saw this coming. No matter what happens APC will create chaos. This is why PDP/Presidency should have invested more time on the Buhari eligibility suit. APC don't know the meaning of the word civility. 11 Likes |

Re: Massive Protest In Owerri by LogicPower(m): 6:17pm On Mar 29, 2015 |
Abagworo: Yes, it is good to see that unlike in 2011, the progressive people of SE/SS are challenging the PDP's massive rigging antics that were so aided and abetted so freely, and almost by everybody in the two regions during the 2011 election. Although the PDP have been rigging elections at the centre for so many years in collaboration with the security agencies, those who are contemplating doing it this time around need to think twice. They need to fully understand that the present circumstances are ENTIRELY DIFFERENT from all the previous ones; the stakes are MUCH HIGHER, the potential risks for miscalculation are MORE POTENT, and the predictable and unpredictable consequences would be far GREATER and MORE SERIOUSLY DANGEROUS. This is simply because the Nigerian citizens are far more informed and have much more readily available and instant way of accessing and spreading information, and the opposition have much more muscle, are more formidable and far more organized, more determined, and much more nationally spread, than in all previous cases of fragrant subversion of people's electoral choices. And GEJ and PDP must be fully aware that the popular mandate Buhari/Osinbanjo has just got from Nigerians is a mandate that emanates from THE ORDINARY POEOPLE from all the regions, and across all ethnic and religious divides; and as such, any attempt by anybody to snatch the mandate would amount to daring the ordinary people from across the country. And as history has shown, no matter how powerful a leader thinks he/she is, there is no way he/she can be more powerful than his/her people; all those who tried it in the past, were eventually proved wrong, as they invariably got crushed by the sheer weight of the people power and condemned to the dark part of history in the end. 1 Like |

Abagworo: I don't belong to that your social/religious groups that swear themselves into bondage. Your knowledge of Imo State is dependent on the number of years you have existed and your immediate socio-political status in the State in this regime hence no comparison. Just like asking T. A. Orji or Nkiru Silvernus what he/she knows about Imo State after spending 30 years in civil service in the state. Disbanded members of Imo Security networks and Expanded Rochas fans club are not the Imo State people rather they are interest groups. Please separate Interest groups from the real Imo citizens on the streets. 6 Likes |
