Resident Electoral Commissioner, Rivers state, Dame Gesilia Khan Sunday night said elections held in the 23 local government areas of the state.

In a statement last night she said the agent of the All Progressive Congress,  APC,  in Ikwerre local government area,  Mr Steve Worgu signed for all documents, including result sheets for Ikwerre local government area, the governor’s local governent.

“The Presidential, senatorial and House of Representatives elections held In the 23 Local government areas in the Rivers state on March 28, 2015.”, she said.

Continuing, she said at the time governor Chibuike Amaechi demanded for the result sheets in his ward at Ubima,  voting had.not started.

“At the stage the governor of Rivers state Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi complained of not sighting th e election result sheet, voti ng has not commenced, that was merely accreditation stage which has noting to do with result sheets. Please note that the governor of Rivers state went to the poll as a voter and not as a governor.

INEC wishes to inform the general public that th e law does not permit everyone to be shown the result sheet, hence all political parties are expected to have their party agents at the distribution centres to ensure that the martial both sensitive and non sensitive are all complete before election officials proceed to the field.

Also the agent at the polling units are expected to ensure that materials are complete before election commences.  Where there is a shortfall the party agent will have it in their report and submit complaint to INEC.

It is on record that APC accredited political party agent who was present at the INEC office Ikwerre local government t area office , Steve Worgu signed that the materials both sensitive and non sensitive distributed at th e local governmen area were complete, including result sheet before the officials proceeded to the field:, she said.

The APC ship has sunk. ASO Rock is retained by the incumbent.

But its really heart wrenching that Nigerians did not see this from the beginning.

Jonathan won this election fair and square. I voted for him and so did my house.

A lot of homes voted for him.

Those of you who play politics believing that everyone is dumb and docile apart from you and your camp need to get a reality check.

Nigerians belong to all of us and even though about 40% of you feel a change is needed, 40% does not carry a majority.

Jonathan may not be perfect but APC is just as if not more flawed than the current administration.

If Buhari enter, he would have made things worse, so we prayed against it and we are certain of our God that he will not give victory to the children of rebellion.

Ameachi is over doing things now. why is he disturbing everyone there? Even i want good numbers of votes there for APC but he should have known that rivers state is where that madam comes from and she will do everything to win, phyically, magomagolly, spiritually, and militantly.Even the protest will not yeild any results. It just gave way for land mark victory for PDP because inec will not cancel those poll results, they will just say GO TO COURT.
But buhari will still win sha as things are going because kwara is totally taken by APC.

Amaechi truly have over reacted on this buh m sure he did all he did cos he knows what the PDP is capable of doing, will the likes of Mama peace and his bloodsucking deputy governor as the major players in the state..buh dat doesn't change the fact that Buhari will win this election by a landslide even though the PDP are busy applying make up to the results of the SS and SE jst to favour them.

Amechi is a big cry baby! Looking for a means to constitute his acclaimed parallel government haven't sensed loosing in his ward and rivers state as a whole.

Why is it that in the 36 states of nigeria it was only Amechi and his thugs asking for result sheet even when it was during the acceredition state of the election?

Elections took place in almost all the local goverment except for the ones Amechi and his thugs went to cause mayhem!

It is obvious Amechi is tensed and furious having lost rivers state as he has to go on exile in other to escape the long arm of the law! Game is up Amechi! Heard his packed all his belongings out of government house so it's easier for him to bail out to seek asylum abroad! Little wonder he has been raising false alarm over treats to his life for evidence and documentation purposes.
