The letter goes to politely explain and clarify what the Oba said and to sooth and calm frayed nerves. In a way this is an apology letter otherwise court cases would be the order of the day this week where the Respected Oba would be forced to apologise publicly in newspapers to the igbos or face abdication over the reckless statement |

Ikengawo:It seems I'm using an outdated dictionary, but going by the definition of an apology according to what I know, I can't find such here. Seems you can hardly wait for him to issue one?? You planning on w&nking on it?? Why the hurry when it is yet to be tendered?? |

Well I would be shocked if the Oba actually made the statement. Those who alleged that he made the threatening statement are unfair people. I retract my statement because I have watched a video clip of the Oba making the statement. A terrible shame indeed. Nobody can detect to a nigerian where to stay, what to do and what rights he should express 1 Like |
