amunkita03: I feel so emotional seeing how Abians are struggling to extricate themselves from the grips and stranglehold of TA. I am happy they have now seen the light and there is nothing that will stop Otti. People claiming to vote TA are doing that and rigging for him for personal gains. My close friend is canvassing strongly for Ikpeazu because he believes he will become the Attorney General of Abia State if that guy wins. Meanwhile this Ikpeazu guy is just a stooge of TA to be planted in the state house to perpetuate the Orji dynasty. Chukwu amankwe. 2 Likes |

INEC Declares Abia Guber Election Inconclusive By MATTHIAS NWOGU, Umuahia — Apr 14, 2015 | 0 Comments Th returning officer for the Abia State governorship election, and Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Professor Benjamin Ozumba last night declared the election in the state as inconclusive. He based his decision, after two days of collation, on the fact that no clear winner emerged in the election held on Saturday in Abia State. It could be recalled that the returning officer had cancelled the election in three local governments, the strong hold of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which he later reversed after the fresh facts emerged. The local governments were Osisioma, Obingwa and Isiala Ngwa North He said that there were also irregularities recorded, in Ohafia, Ikwuano, Isiala Ngwa south and Aba South local government areas. He, however, did not give a date for the rescheduled election in the units and wards affected by the irregularities. Declaring the election inconclusive. , Prof Ozumba said,”It is apparent that the margin of win is not in excess of the total number of votes as required by the electoral regulation, therefore, there is no declared winner.” Ozumba gave the margin of lead as 83,053 and the total of number of voters where the election did not hold as 179,224. At the collation of the last result from Ohafia local government area, the PDP was leading with 248,459 followed by APGA with 165406. He gave the number of registered voters for the election as 1,217,632 while accredited voters were 470,900. |

one of the conditions for the PDP candidate ikpeazu given by Thief A Orji is for him to be giving the thieving Godfather a whopping 1.8 billion every month. PDP cannot and will never rule Abia State. PDP as a party took Nigerians for granted except for some good individual governors like Enugu's Sullivan Chime. They never called their erring governors to power. TA Orji is the worst living governor in the whole of Nigeria and was even praised and given a national honour for massive stealing and refusal to do any single project. PDP can now see the result of messing with Nigerians. They are losing almost everything they had. well, let this be a lesson to everyone, even the APC. Nigeria is evolving for the better. if you stand in the way of progress, you will be isolated. No time!! 1 Like |

Otti has shown these fools that it's no longer business as usual. The guy hold PDP for ground. I thank God things are the way they are now. The fools thought the election would be a walk in the park but God sent His son Otti to redeem the state. To God be the glory. |

kreamidiva:If the PDP is really leading by the margin above, then there is no hope for APGA o! They should make sure that those results that were brought back are cancelled again or get the election totally cancelled. |

On the contrary, inec are with pdp.how do you explain reversing already cancelled result ? Coming to strong hold, all those rescheduled places are strong hold of pdp and not Apga, the are core Ngwa lands.apga strong holds include:ohafia, arochukwu, umuahia north /south,ikwuano and Aba town. Besides 85000 votes difference isn't a small margin. centjamie: |

Re: Abia Governorship Election Inconclusive – INEC by centjamie(m): 10:57am On Apr 14, 2015 |
kayce911: Hian! Dude,i'm not sure you have been following this election.first,Ohafia isn't one of Ottis's stronghold and has never been.he even lost there. It was a landslide win for pdp in obingwa and osisioma lgas wch almst led to the cancellation of the results from those lgas because apga protested seriously against the announcements of those results citing electoral violence and massive rigging etc as reasons why they shud cancel them. The state Returning Officer and Vice Chancellor, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Prof. Benjamin Ozumba, obliged them and cancelled the results but was force to render them valid agn when pdp interferred, having given constitutional reasons why she shouldn't cancel.they also called Jega who then ordered that the results be announced. The woman couldn't stil announce a winner yesterday because she smelt a rat, plus petitions from apga agents and decided to have a re-run in some wards in ugwunagbo, osisioma ngwa and arochukwu where election didn't hold as a result of allegedly death scare from pdp.while Arochukwu is naturally Otti's stronghold, ugwunagbo and osisioma are core ngwa lands. but places where there are gona be a re-run are places largely populated by non-ngwa indigenes who support otti.they are among places referred to as Aba main town. If inec(prof ozumba) wasn't on Otti's side, there was nothing stopping her from announcing a winner because the whole results were already collated.
