The Ondo state Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi has set up a seven-man panel to investigate the allegations of gross misconduct leveled against the deputy governor, Mr Alli Olanusi. This follows the directive of the Ondo State House of Assembly to the Chief Judge to set up the panel.

The panel which has been inaugurated and has Mr Olatunji Stanley Adeniyan as Chairman comprises Mr Aladesanmi Akingbade, Barr.Ademola Ekundayo, Ven. Richard Obafemi, Mr Abraham Kola Mathew, Mr Ibrahim Shodeinde and Mrs Eunice Yinka Obadele. The Ondo state house of assembly had on Wednesday level allegations of gross misconduct financial misappropriation, absenteeism from official duties and allegedly causing political disaffection in the cabinet of the state governor against the deputy governor. The impeachment notice was signed by 20 of the 26 lawmakers.
