I'm kinda new to the dating game, but one thing has always piqued my curiosity. I know men generally have some level of responsibility, especially when they start working. For some, it involves sending money home to their mum or sister in school every month or so. Now, some guys can send 10k to their struggling mothers in a month after complaining about economy blah blah...but are able to take a girl they just met out/ go shopping/give her money...and generally spend in the realm of 50k in a blink! How do you guys rationalize this? Don't you feel guilty? Is that the way things should be done? Should your mom take second place to your passions? I am genuinely curious |

this why they say guys are 'stupid'......... Girls will hate you for this, this is a market spoiler to them, they don't even care about you (just your money) not to talk of your mum. |

Depends on how much you make. If you make a million naira a month, you can afford to spend 50k. If you make 100k a month and spend 50k on a girl you aren't married to, you're a big fool. Your brain should be pulled out of your head, and flogged. 1 Like |

You still have ur other siblings to spend for ur mum and besides ur dad should spend for his wife too..Spend for ur girlfriend more cos if u eventually get married, she will be d one to give birth to your children and start a family with. Some guys will disagree with me on this and they r d ones that do buy ankara 6 yards for their mum during yuletide period only and buy iPhone 6 for their girlfriend with subscription every month. |

deathwing: Yes sure it happens everyday. There are guys who spend lavishly on their babes more than their mothers. Even married men aren't left out as they spend extravagantly on their side chicks more than their wives at home. There are a lot of guys who have a fixed amount of what they give to their mum monthly and siblings at uni but when it comes to their babes there's no limit to how much they can spend. Even if we may not do it, we have friends who does it everyday. I have such friends and for those who attempting to make it seem as if these set of guys love their mum any less they are wrong. My mum number 1 My sisters and brothers number 2 Then my girfriend (fiancee) . But wen i finally marry her, reverse would be d case cuz she would b my number 1 family but b4 that hell no she cant take more than my mum and sisters, cuz i believe she should also hav parent and family members that would b responsible for her upkeep. |
