Have you considered the number of quality players Osea has to contend with compared to Mikel whose meaningful competitors are Essien (Injured) or Belleti (A right full back)

There is no guarantee he would have been successful if he was with SAF or Arsene all na probability.My grouse with him is he has been static he lacks dynamism and he has refused to add something new to his game

To you O'shea is better, to me, Mikel is. . .and I can give you a million reasons.
You wanna know why Mikel was converted to a holding MF? 'cos of his ability to hold on to the ball and if you watch his performances this season, he has made some very last minute saves/tackles for chelsea.
For me, I would love to see him in a more advanced role and for him to take more risks.
At the moment he is just playing according to instructions.
Ain't that simple enough for you to understand?
