My own style of proposal, was that I took my wife on a trip to Ghana, there we had fun & went to a fast food in Shoprite, I bought an ice cream & quickly hid the ring inside, while she was standing wit me. I give her the ice cream, then she found the ring inside, & she said God don punish all these fast food people, dat she will sell the ring, because the Ice cream was too expensive. Then she turned & saw me on 1 knee smiling & asking her to Marry me. She was so surprised & agreed immediately. 4 Likes |

suggest a candle night date, the venue should be your house.. tell her you're gonna prepare the food by yourself.. decorate the dinning table, get a wine (not cheap wine) set the cutlery.. put the engagement ring inside her plate n cover it up.. invite her over. write a short romantic note on a piece of paper, place it inside your own plate n cover it up. immediate she opens her own plate.. do the needful (customary position when to propose) hold her hands n say to her.. will you be My wife n the mother of My kids ?♥♥♥♥ #inkheart 3 Likes |

take her to a resturant but b4 taking her to the resturant, make sure u have planned with the owners of the resturant and a few people, her family members, ur guys then when u guys(u and ur chick)are talking, let jason durelo marry you song be playing at the resturant then pop the question. make sure u also have a photographer around. |

How sweet! Just do something extraordinary,not what people are used to,but if you don't mind the style my hubby used you can try it. He's one jaye jaye kind of guy and a member of ikoyi club. He gave his well written proposal to the club's live band and they sang it to me; His friends and colleagues were also there. It was a very memorable day for me. |

This might be a bit unconventional, but you asked for suggestions, so here is mine. If your girlfriend is not into the whole "one must make a grand proposal" fad that's trending nowadays, she might actually like this. Propose to her amidst her parents. These are the people that have been the most instrumental in shaping her into the woman that she is today. Gather dad, mom, and daughter together. Tell the parents the purpose of your gathering beforehand. Kneel in front of her, and hold her hands, proceed to tell her the characteristics the she inherited from her father that you like about her the most, do the same for the traits she inherited from mom. Afterwards, go on to mention her God-given qualities - a kind heart, an empathetic personality....yaddi, yaddi, yadda. Then tell her how blessed you feel that all of these people and God have worked so hard to put together such an amazing woman, the woman who will make you the happiest man alive if she could say yes to a question, then ask the question. Don't forget to tell her how happy you'll make her, and that you'll make sure to always protect her. Take her out afterwards, or do something you know you'll both enjoy. Not only will she find the proposal endearing, but you will score MAJOR points with your future MIL and FIL. Apparently, I spend too much time thinking about these things, and this is the proposal I would love. I'm sure she'll like whatever route you take to propose. Good luck! 5 Likes |
