Guys beware of how you fall in love with some girls, they just want to treat you nicely and lovely just to expose your unclothedness.  There's this friend of mine, he is managing life we just train together for a long time now and there's this nice young girl (23yrs) that comes around and train with him too, over some time, they developed this friendship bond, this my guy barely eats well and he is struggling all by himself, he is a very hardworking and inspiring person, sometimes this girl escorts him to where he picks a taxi late at 8pm before she goes to her own house, she even gives him #1000 for snacks and buy drugs for his sick mum and food stuffs almost every time and she is a graduate in anatomy doing 2nd degree and a good christian girl with kindness and respect while this my guy (24) is just doing a very small job that hardly pays well. All of a sudden he started hugging her from behind whenever she comes for training and me myself concluded that they were dating already, not until yesterday when she called me and told me that he asked to date her and when she said NO he became devastated and lonely... when i went to training yesterday i saw him sitting alone lonely he couldn't even speak to her, i felt shame and sorrow in him. The NO is coming from a girl that has helped him through alot. Even when he hugs her she always feel uncomfortable, she told me she doesn't complain with thoughts that it might be a friendly hug not knowing he had developed sexual feelings. He has been friendzone.. best solution He should move on and try to show the girl what she will miss in the future time. That's how I do my thing. How did she ruin his confidence? She does not owe him a YES because he asked. Just because she has helped him a lot does not mean she wants to be his girl. On his part there is nothing to feel ashamed of he went for what he wanted he didn't get it no one is to blame if they are not a match. your guy screwed up by taking himself back to the starting point. Some girls don't like it when you ask them for relationship, they prefer it in the modern way where you folks just playfully convert the friendship into a relationship.
