"Efe! Efe!"
The lanky, 17 year old boy walked into the dark-lit room, holding his football across his waist.
"Efe!" He called out to his sister again.
The little girl stopped abruptly and dropped the perfume bottle she held so close to her nose.

"Oyibo, you scared me." She picked up the bottle again, sniffed it and smiled.
"You shouldn't be in Aunty's room, Efe. Leave"
"You're always grumpy, Oyibo. Won't you ask why I'm here?"
He rolled his eyes, exasperated.
"No, Efe. I want to go play football, and I'm not in the mood for a Q&A session.
Come on" He advanced towards her and took hold of her hand.
"Let's leave."
"Next week is Aunty's birthday!" The little girl screamed and yanked her hand free from her brother's arm.
"So you forgot?" She sneered, triumphunt.
She walked up to the stand and picked up the perfume again.
"Let's buy this for her."
Oyibo snickered.
"It's expensive."
"But...Aunty has done so much for us. She's the best in the world, and she deserves it."
"So should I rob a bank?!"
Efe recoiled in fear.

"Listen to me Efe, Aunty Biebi is the best undoubtedly. And if I could throw her a pool party I would, but I don't have that kind of money. Plus, she wouldn't expect anything from us.
End of discussion.
Let's leave now."
"Ever since our parents died, she's always taken up the responsibility without asking anything from any of us. She never misses our birthdays, she acts like our Mom...
She'll appreciate anything we give her, it doesn't have to be expensive.
Plus she works all day everyday. From sewing in the day to waiting in restaurants at night."
Oyibo shifted uneasily. What was she asking of him now?
That he used the money he had carefully saved for Chioma to take her out on the 14th to buy presents for his older sister?

"Efe....she won't mind. Aunty B won't mind. Besides, she's 24. Who still celebrates birthdays at that age?"
"Well, I'd like to celebrate my birthday till I die"
"You're 12, what do you know?"
"I know Aunty deserves to be happy...even for just that day."
"It's still Saturday. Her birthday is two days away. You'll have a lot of time to think about it and see I'm right."
"But Oyibo-" He held her by the hand, let her out of the room and shut the door.
Their elder sister was indeed the greatest. She took up paying for their fees in private schools, swearing that none of them would ever go near a public school, because qualitative teaching didn't reside there.
She also made sure they didn't go a day without meals. She put a halt to her university education to sponsor theirs.
She deserved everything.

But....
He liked Chioma a lot, and she had promised to let him "go all the way" if he "showered his blessings" on her, and he wasn't about to let go of a one in a million opportunity.

With all the thoughts bothering him, he took off his shirt, grabbed the ball and ran to the field.

"Shift" Biebi poked Dafe's head away from her shoulder.
"My head hurts..." He began to protest.
"My shoulder hurts" She replied and looked out the taxi window.
"Can I lay on your lap?"
"We're almost there" She eyed him, distatefully.
"What's your deal? Aren't you my girlfriend?" It's a good thing you're rich, she thought. I wouldn't have put up with you for so long, otherwise.
She smiled her fake smile.

"It's just....I'm still upset with you. You've got me bankrupt. It's a wonder I could still foot your hospital bill."
"I'm sorry. Even though I can barely remember."
"Driver, here!" The man came to an abrupt stop beside a kiosk.
"Is that where I stay?" Dafe asked.
"Shut up." She motioned to her lips with her forefinger.

He watched her as she paid the man and grabbed his hand as they made their way out of the taxi.
What sort of a woman was this?
One minute she was all over him, the next, cold. Was she who she really claimed she was?
He almost didn't care at that point. She was tough, sarcastic, beautiful and Lord, that ass....
"What are you looking at?" She poked his head, again.
"Ouch..."
"Your head is paining you, ba? But you can stare at my bottom. Are you crazy?"
"But, I'm your boyfriend nau."
"So? We are both virgins. You promised to sleep with me ONLY after we got married"
"Me?" Odafe laughed. Even though she spoke convincingly, it didn't look like something he'd say. At least, his throbbing organ didn't agree with her.

"The house is down that way-" She pointed at the one storey building painting in milk. She looked just as surprised as he was. It was a mansion and beautiful to behold.
I can't believe this pervert is a lawyer, she thought to herself.

"Wow, that's my house?! So, why didn't we stop there?"
"I don't want any exorbitant fee just because of the house. Let's go"

In no time, they were at the gate, Biebi banging furiously on it.
The gateman opened, looking like he'd been awakened from sleep.
"Who be you?" He turned his attention to Dafe. "Ah! Oga Do.."
"Shut up!" Biebi cautioned. "Sleeping on duty? Do you know how long we've been standing here?"
"But madam, I answer sharp sharp nau."
She hissed and pushed him out of the way, still holding Dafe's hands.
"Do you have the keys?"
"Oga no lock am that time he comot"
Biebi eyed him.
"You are fired"
"Biebi" Dafe spoke for the first time. "Why are you firing him?"
"He's incompetent and useless."
"But madam I no know who you be nau. The only person I know na Oga Oyibo girlfriend. Who you be?"
"Oyibo girlfriend?" Dafe spoke, meditatively.
"You see what I mean Dafe, completely useless. Pay him no heed o. All he knows how to talk is nonsense. Pack your things and leave." I want to enjoy my money in peace, Biebi completed the statment in her head.

As he watched her chest heave with every breath, he felt a knot in his stomach.
This was the woman he wanted, the woman he wanted to marry. There was something about her, a lot of things about her actually.

"Chief," She rubbed her eyes, sleepily. "How long have you been standing there, staring?" She began to put on her clothes.
"Bra first, you'll rub your stomach. Then put on your panties. After that, your jeans then your top." He smiled, pleased with himself. "Isn't that what you'll do?"
She stared at him stunned, holding her bra.

"Chief," She finally spoke. "You don start all this your romantic thing? I no like this kain thing, I no like am at all"
The older man seemed displeased.
"Did you have to go back to your pidgin, Vosa? You were doing so well"
"Chief, I don tell you. I no fit date you, I no fit marry you sef. Wetin be this nau? Ashewo dey love?"
"Stop that"
Vosa rolled her eyes and continue dressing up.
"I can change your life," He continued. "Take you to school, make you the most influential woman in Nigeria."
"At what expenses?" Vosa retorted. "That me marry you?"
Chief chuckled at her grammatical error.
"Tchww!" She hissed, offended. "No dey laugh me." She threw a pillow at him.

"Marry me, please" He got on his knees as he spoke.
"No jhoor. You too old....and you get pikins dem. And me I no wan marry. Even if I must to marry, he must be one fine bobo, tall with car and no pikin"
He got up, obviously hurt.
"Chief, no vex" She finally put on her shirt and reached for her purse.
"I made a reservation for lunch with my son."
"Why nau, Chief? Why?"
"Vosa, relax..."
"I no wan meet am. I no be your babe and I no wan make im dey think like that. E fit be my customer tomorrow"
She watched him from the corner of her eye. Her comment struck a nerve. Good, she thought. I can't have you or anyone bossing me around.

"Let's go" He grabbed her hand, undettered and they left the hotel room.
"Chief! I need my money..."
"Vosa, shut up!" He spoke to her harshly, for the first time. "You are not a prosstituute to me. You're the woman I love. And what went down in that room- that wasn't sex. It was me making love to the woman of my dreams. Now, if you need money, ask and I'll give it to you, but don't base it on that. And don't you ever refer yourself as a prossstitute in my presence. You understand?
Now, let's go"

"Wow!" Biebi gasped at the expanse of his mansion.
"What?" Dafe asked, "You look surprised."
"Well...it's different than the last time I left it" She explained and toured the living room, inch by inch.
"So...I'm rich?" Dafe asked, sitting down and examining the sitting room as well.

Biebi caressed the figurine on the coffee table, avoiding his question.
"So why did I borrow an alleged sum of money from you if I have all of this?"
Biebi chuckled nervously.
"Well....your business is...crashing. And you put your house up for mortgage."
"I don't believe you." He replied, resolute, getting up.
"You're lying to me, Biebi and I want to know why"
"I have no reason to lie" Biebi insisted and looked him straight in the eye. "You're a broke ass fool who depends on his girlfriend for a reasonable income"
Dafe twisted her arm.

"Tell me the truth!"
"But this is the truth, Dafe! Stop...hurting me-"
"You avoid me like a plague when I try to get close to you, but when it's all about my money, you're all over me like a bee to honey."
"Dafe, please-"
"Just be honest, Biebi. That's all I ask."
"Fine. I'll tell you the truth. The whole truth and nothing but the truth."

Chief Benson put his hands around Vosa's waist as they entered the restaurant.
"Chief-" She started to protest.
"Relax, Vosa. That's my son over there."
The tall, dark bloke stoop up to take cognizance of them as they walked in. He smiled at his father and the girl who accompanied him.
"The hunter and his prey" He commented, cheerfully.
"No, Richard. This is not just any 'prey'."
"Oh?" Richard arched an eyebrow.
"Wetin be this?" Vosa began whining. "I dey here, una dey gossip me. Dey call me 'prey'; wetin be all this one.
Richard stifled a laugh.

"She's an illiterate?"
"Richard..." Chief Benson began, cautioning.
"Abi this one dey crase? Who you dey call 'illiterate?' Mah tell you, that you know small book no mean say you get sense. See this id1ot o..."
"Vosa, calm down..." The Chief beseeched.
"No tell me make I calm down. I don tell you say I no like all this nonsense. I no like to dey mingle with person wey go dey tolerate me. Tch"
She made to leave.
"Vosa! Vosa-"
"Good day."

Dafe let go of Biebi's hand and waited calmly for her explanation.
Biebi massaged her hurt arm and winced, painfully.
"I'm listening, Biebi."
She moved closer to him. He moved further from her.
"What is it?"
"You want the truth? I want to tell you everything." She moved even closer to him. "Or maybe it's best you remember, don't you think? I want you to remember. I'm tired of you terming me a liar. I'm not, Dafe"
She pressed her lips to his. Ew, she thought. If I don't get like 2 million out of all these nonsense things I'm doing, my name is not Biebi.

She wrapped her hands around his neck and cradled her soft, full chest in his.
You don die today, she thought, parting his lips and flicking her tongue through the expanse of his mouth.
He seized the moment and grabbed a handful of her soft bottom, kneading it with his palms. She flinched, her muscles tensed. Everything felt weird. She saw herself closing her eyes enjoying his mind-blowing kiss.
He wasn't a bad kisser at all.

A moan escaped his lips and she felt her body go aflame. She was...enjoying it.
She clung to him, kissing him with the pent--up desire of a girl that had never truly been kissed this passionately. He lifted his head and stared into her eyes.
"Biebi" He whispered.

No, she wanted to stop. She had to stop. She couldn't feel these things. These...delicious things.
The electricity between them was so strong it practically sizzled in the air.

"Do you-" She stopped and cleared her throat. "Do you remember now?"
"Yes," He replied and kissed her again. "Your name is not Biebi" He stated, drunkenly. "It's Monica."

Biebi stepped back, like she'd been slapped.
"What are you saying?!" She yelled. "I'm Biebi. I think you must have me confused with one of your numerous girlfriends."
"Um...Biebi, um...I'm sorry. I'm...I'm sorry. Of course. Of course I remember that kiss. Only one person could kiss me that way and drive me crazy."
"And that person is Biebi"
"Okay. I'm sorry for doubting you, okay?"

Biebi shrugged it off. She wasn't going to let a sizzling once-in-a-lifetime kiss mess with her brain.
She walked up to the coffee table and picked up the figurine.
"I wonder how much this is worth"
Dafe laughed, heartily.
"You want to sell that? Okay"
"I'm leaving now" She announced, looking away from him; reminiscing how he tasted attached to her lips.

"Come back tomorrow, okay?" He stared at her, genuinely. "You're the only one I've got now"
She rolled her eyes.
"I have work tomorrow"
"Sunday then"
"Church"
"We'll go together" He insisted.
"No, I don't go to church. I'll be here on Sunday."
"Bye"
"Hey....Biebi, A virgin doesn't dress like this. Just saying"
"Don't judge a book by its cover, Genius. By the way, you've lost practice. You're not that good a kisser." And she walked out, still holding her figurine; leaving Dafe with a bruised ego.

As his trembling hands made his way around Chioma's bosom, she let out a sigh, displeased.
She tapped his hands away from her chest and got up from the bed.
"Why did I even come all this way with you? Are you a virgin?!" She asked angrily. "If you are an amateur at this, why did you waste my precious time?"
Oyibo stood up from the rickety hotel bed and rubbed his hands, his forehead wet with beads of sweat.

"Chioma, I'm sorry. It's just....I haven't done this type of thing before..."
She picked up her school bag before he could complete his statement and made to leave.
"Chioma, where are you going?"
"I detest impotent fools, so take your limp joystick elsewhere."
"After I spent my hard earned money on you?"
Chioma folded her hands dramatically.
"So? So because you spent a miserable 5k on me, I should sleep with you? What do you take me for-that prosstitute sister of yours?"
"Chioma, don't you dare insult my sister."
"Insult? Oh...you don't know your sister is the main ashewo of Tropical Bar. Ah. You are a bigger fool than I thought. Tchw!"
She left, banging the door behind her.
