the looting was on both sides though jonathan and his people got the largest share. Some Apc governors arent innocent either. Lets see how buhari will prosecute them

This is a dumb move. Constitution guarantees them free movement except there are subsisting cases against them. This is the reason American type of democracy is the bane of Africa's development. Africa needs a special rule where such guarantee could be managed. In any case, there is judicial cooperation especially with country that have extradition treaty with Nigeria. And what if they are smart to avoid going to such countries ? These are monumental issues.

It is simple, let them leave. After taking over power and necessary investigations into the financial looting of Nigeria, the new govt can request for extradition of the ex-govt looters from which ever country they ran to.
.

It wont be that simple. Some carry multiple passports, others may go to areas we do not have extradiction arrangements with. Some will churn up diplomatic traps while others may change their names or fake their deaths. Lets get them now because prevention is better than cure.

I really don't know how Buhari would do that without people calling him a dictator. In a democracy, people can move around, except there is a court order against it or a state of emergency.

Anyways, anyone who has stolen Nigeria's money, including even this Yayale must vomit our money as from May 29
.

The same Yayale who was the cabal group during Yar'Adua's time?

In saner climes, he should be in jail too. Let all corrupt ones go to jail, including Yayale.

The poor Nigerians are shouting and dreaming of prison for politicians, while the politicians are amusing themselves. How many ex-president, senator, governor or top government functionaries do we have in Nigerian jail.
Buhari have also majority coruppt politicians as friends, so its business as usual the poor will not understand.

All this people shouting up and down about what Buhari will discover about the rot in government should go and sit down. cool

Yayale himself have been in one topmost position or the other since year 2000 and now he is talking about corruption. What was their own contribution to fighting corruption especially when he was Head of the civil service and the Secretary to the Government of the federation.

Let us equally remember the role this same Yayale played during Yaradua's demise.

You stole my thoughts...but I won't charge you.

Buhari MUST distance himself from these favour seekers and belated self-launderers. Even TY Danjuma is talking too...nobody wants his oil well to be taken away from him in 2016.

Buhari, please don't fall for these men. Jonathan fell for a lot of nonsense...watch carefully and learn from your predecessor´s many errors in judgment and perceived weaknesses.

Not even a kobo of the public's fund should be allowed to go unrecovered.
However, I don't think its necessary to restrict their movement. The new administration should work within existing laws of the land and make good use of relevant extradition treaties where necessary.

Buhari has all our supports and God will see him through.

He can do that with court orders. Such restrictions can be obtained on May 29th immediately after handing over.

That may actually be in his plans. Let's wait and see.

Court order against how many people?
You think the judges are fish brains like you?
Court order against all govs? all ministers? all public office holders?

Child of anger and hatred, not all ministers and governors have corruption allegations hanging on their neck.

Reasonable people know the big suspects.
