This is a general question, you need to spend time in this section and read threads so as to make an informed decision.

Search for Canadian skill work program or Australian work program then see where your skill set is needed most.

Hello good people,
I'd like to learn from all those that already migrated...
•At what point do you get to declare those strange foodstuffs, who asks for the declaration?
•what's the best mode of packaging to avoid their wahala or all those security dogs sniffing some strange smells from the bags and thus raising eyebrows.
•at what point do you also declare your hard currency... Dollar precisely... Any minimum or maximum amount required to carry on the trip?

And for all those waiting for a grant... It will surely come as long your documents are authentic and properly tendered. They are also aware of all the resumption dates and they will do the needful before it's too late.

Regards to y'all

Please I need you candid advice and guidance.

Am a graduate of Accounting and currently working in a financial institution here in Nigeria.
Am looking at studying a course (ICT) as advice by a friend who is currently in Australia. But he advice that I should look at doing this at a BSc level and not Master degree level because of the indept teaching at the BSc level. So I decided to look at BSc information and communication technology/ BSc accounting which is a Double major. The fee for this course is around 25,800 AUD for year. Here is my questions.
1. How does not cope with this humongous fees in Australia.
2. How easy is it to work over there to finance ones living expenses and also pay school fees.

Your brotherly advice will be highly appreciated.

Hey Guys.

Pardon my story but he fit long small.
Earlier this year I decided to go to Australia to obtain a masters of Human resource management. I opted for ecu. Edith Cowan University. The program consists of a 4 months pre masters program or course and upon completion I will start the 2 years masters itself.

I backed out of the program by listening to someone. A decision I'm almost regretting.. The person said it will be hard to get a job after completion.. Not true I think..

So my question us this..
The total programme will be 20 months study time.. Can I get a certificate course to make it 24 or 28 months after completion of the masters, to enable me get a good working permit.

After getting this permit or temporary residence.. Will I be able to get temporary jobs of 1 year , six months and the likes to build experience towards obtaining a PR. Or for my field is Australia a no no.. Please any advice is appreciated.. I'm 23 years old, IElts score 7.5 total band score.. Lowest was 6.5. I run a transport company and a pig farm.. Married this year with a little daughter on the way, due august..

B.A philosophy lagos state university.. Tuition is available for the full duration of study..

Please advice my brothers and sistrens!
I think you referring to PIBT. I was initially scheduled to start this July but had to defer till February due to insufficient funds. My preference is Masters in Accounting (CPA ) but I was advised to go for Bachelors in Nursing Science. Please house, is Accounting not lucrative there?

My success story : fast forward, single OSCH was stated in my offer letter instead of dual, never knew until I was about to pay my fee, after several calls n mails to d schl, d error ws corrected and fee to pay increased...filled Form A at 2 different banks same time one at $10k and d other 7k plus, coz I was told if I fill $17k at a time it might not go tru...long story short, got mail frm schl dat my fee is short of AUD800 probably due to exchange rate calctns....eventually, all payment went tru n COE was sent, only for me to open d mail n found out it was a wrong COE, sent mail n made several calls...later got d original COE on 21st June, dat same day, lodged my application at TLS lagos, application got to pretoria on 24th June and grant arrived dis morning 1st July (6 working days)... All thanks to God, hubby n PFL Victoria Island

I don't know the advice the person gave you but how did he arrive at masters degree is not taught in-depth?

I guess he advised you to do bachelor because your foundation is in administration/social sciences. You need elementary science to pull through in ICT.

How long have you been working in the financial institution?

•At what point do you get to declare those strange foodstuffs, who asks for the declaration?
A declaration card will be given to you in the airplane just declare all. I had all sorts (e.g pap, yam flour, egusi, ogbono, pepper, bitter leaf, poundo yam, garrison ijebu) and I was not checked, we were only asked and was told to proceed .
•what's the best mode of packaging to avoid their wahala or all those security dogs sniffing some strange smells from the bags and thus raising eyebrow
It is advisable you put them in Ziploc bags and label with both scientific and local name, Also i didn't see any security dog at the Poe.
•at what point do you also declare your hard currency... Dollar precisely... Any minimum or maximum amount required to carry on the trip?
At exit at Nigeria also at entry point but is no issue it is only when you have above the $10,000 treshold. There is no minimum amount you are required cos we were not asked at all.

And for all those waiting for a grant... It will surely come as long your documents are authentic and properly tendered. They are also aware of all the resumption dates and they will do the needful before it's too late.
