Things were not done properly.
1. Why didn't Amaechi hand over like other governors did? Government is not a personal property, it belongs to the people.
2. There was no way Wike would have vandalized brick house on a Thursday while Amaechi was still governor.
3. It is true that Wike does not know what amaechi s bedroom looks like before May 29th...referring to the picture, does it mean that the former governor slept on the floor? Because I didn't see any bed in it.
4. What about the motorcycle rider and other official vehicles that are missing? Did the former governor purchase all that with his own personal money?

If Amaechi had honourably handed over properly, this would never have happened. Someone would think that was the reason he skipped town on inauguration day. The odds are against Amaechi if you ask me.

Amaechi said Wike took charge of the place and denied people access since he left the place intact on thursday. Let Wike deny that. And by the way, the looting took place while the inauguration was going on. Let Wike tell us those he gave access into the Government house

But like someone pointed out Amaechi perfected the storm by not handing over. When you do that you create room on both sides for this to happen. It could be Wike and his boys but it could also be Amaechi's group with or without his attention. GEJ took GMB round Aso Rock. Why couldn't Amaechi do same. What you should be worried about is what may have happened on a larger state-wide scale to government assets particularly those in the hands of transiting politicians. Heck, what if Amaechi's signature was forged and the treasury raided. Amaechi was careless, period. He wasn't there, didn't handover to spite Wike but it can and may backfire badly.

There were a lot activities he engaged himself on sat and Sunday, in right sense Sunday or mo day shld be the day for inspection before thinking of packing in.

As an example. Goodluck took Buhari on a tour BEFORE handover. Why couldn't Amaechi do something similar to avoid these kinds of issues. Why did they put their personalities before service.

Its a big shame that 80% of peeps ranting on NL are not from Rivers state. You guys don't know anything about Amaechi. Amaechi and his cronies looted all the cars in government house and everything they can lay their hands on. River state saga is gradually degenerating to personal grunt.
Ameachi has failed to realise that being a former governor has made him an elder statesman in that state, as such he should conduct himself with decorum and respect.
His claims of investigation and sorts are trash and very childish cuz Wike is the boss now and truly any investigation will not be in his favour.
Was the Perm Sec informed of what was in the house before Amaechi packed in and after he packed out?
Which of those things in that house did he buy with his money? Would it have been bad if he left them there?
I believe his aides vandalized the house probably to spite the incoming governor. Using those words on those people that went on visit with Wike is uncalled for and totally immature for a former gov. His decision to boycott handing over is a strong indication that he hates the new guy and he should expect harsh treatment from him.
On the other hand, Wike has shown that he is all out to humiliate Amaechi for reasons best known to him.
Would Wike have retained and used the properties in the house if they were left there, won't he pack them out and replace with new ones? So why the rant about this, he should just mention it and proceed to renovate the house. He was not voted in to witch hunt people but to build and improve on his predeccesor"s achievements.
River state belongs to all the inhabitants and people of Rivers not to Amaechi and Wike.
They should stop all this nonsense and allow peace reign in that state.

His unbridled ambition to be governor is the root cause of the problems in RS and part of the reasons GEJ lost. Unfortunately for him, he never imagined GEJ will lose. The fact that Amaechi will be relevant at the federal level is still giving Wike sleepless nights. See him sleeping at a PDP event today.

No sane 21st century compliant human being supports a Wike against an Amaechi. Wike is a hundred times everything they are accusing Amaechi of today. Even if he was the one in place of Amaechi he could have sent assassins in chase of the president or the wife whenever they visited RS. Do you think Amaechi had no capacity with all the money in his possession to buy his own set of ex militants who would have joined in unleashing mayhem in RS thereby causing serious unrest all the while Wike and the gang has been running roughshod? But what goes around comes around, he who sows the whirlwind do not expect the wind in return. Amaechi is bearing the repercussions of all his actions today good or bad, Wike and co should be ready for theirs as it will surely come. I am 100% sure they will look back to the past and bite their fingers.

Do you know the meaning of a traitor or just wish to use it? If truly, you're a Rivers man, then you're the real traitor for abandoning your brother for your neighbour, meaning you can sell your blood brother instead your neighbour. Don't tell me, Jonathan is more Rivers than Amaechi.
I would like to ask you some questions:
where were you when Jonathan ceded Rivers oil wells to Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom?
where were you when he (Amaechi) was crying to get them back, did you support him or sold Rivers wealth to Jonathan in the name of his our son? I know when they're talking state that have benefited the presidency, they would not say Rivers but bayelsa?
where were you when Jonathan publicly said during his campaign in Portharcourt that Amaechi was saying the truth that he did do anything for Rivers, that Amaechi has spun him to do something for Rivers in his second term. I hope he will come back to do it after he has lost the election he has no control over?
where were you when Wike was using FG power to humiliate a seating governor?
where were you when Patience Jonathan seize a microphone from a seating governor?
where were you when he was suspended from PDP without fair hearing as required by law?
where were you when he was without a political party for almost a year?
where were you when political killings of opposition were on rampage in Rivers state?
Mr., I can go on and on. Don't hate him for not supporting Jonathan, don't hate him for standing on principle, don't hate him for fighting for Rivers state, hate him for not discharging his constitutional duties. Hate him for not standing to uphold the prosperity of Rivers state.
