Ogbeni Aregbe is a man who doesn't have any human feelings at all. All what he believed in is voodoo. Imagine, he only paid 70% out of the November sallary, and that 70%, he paid it twice. He is a barbaric Governor. He is not fit to control a pure water factory. 5 Likes |

This is a pure case of a foolish man who knows all has can only roughly build him a one room apartment but to show off decided to start foundation for a 100room mansion. I sensed his cruelty when he started to change the state's name from osun state to state of osun and wasted money in just change of signposts all through the state. Of what use now is the opon imo when the teachers to make these students understand has been made to live in penury after working tirelessly. And i dont blame this bad and cruel administrator but the illiterates who are penny wise but pound foolish or how do one explain one who losses his source of income such as the uniform traders along station road in osogbo of which uniform costed less than N200 per yard with little income for a free uniform for their ward which barely lasted a session and because of N100 per day at most they could have given their ward to feed to cost so many people hardship. Now pensioners are just dying like fowls and present workers and their family feeding from hand to mouth and so many debts incurred. Posterity will judge you Mr Aregbe. May you be paid by the same coin you have dished out to the masses. Long live osun state and God bless nigeria 7 Likes |

The situation in Osun state is both painful and pathetic to say the least. They have to keep up with an irresponsible and incompetent Governor on one hand. On the other hand they need to keep up with the APC propaganda machine. It is sad and very painful that the once properous Osun is now a at a point closed to be termed a "failed state". The government can't even effect further borrowing from the bank because no bank want to go on a bad transaction. Its a shame my sister.... A big shame ECOTERRORS: 5 Likes 1 Share |

nortcentrallord: Why I am not here to defend Aregbesola's inability to pay salaries, please be reminded that few states in this country are able to pay their workers up till date. In fact, PDP states with much higher allocations from FG coupled with internal revenue owes workers. Why did GEJ borrow money to pay FG workers too? Before you resort to blind argument, click the following link or you can do more online research may be they can serve as an eye opener for you - http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/183684-akwa-ibom-rivers-others-owe-workers-despite-receiving-highest-excess-crude-money.html https://www.google.com.ng/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=_GVtVY-hPMjFuASX4oHQAg&gws_rd=ssl#q=We+borrow+to+pay+FG+workers+-+iweala%3F 1 Like |

ECOTERRORS: Really! Is Nigeria not a failed state if FG is paying workers through borrowing? PDP controlled states with much higher revenues and allocations are still owing workers' salaries. Incredible enough, PDP governors who were unable to pay workers' salaries were donating huge billions of naira publicly for GEJ's electioneering campaign: I wonder whether people like you were on strike as at then. Osun state is a state that predominantly depends on allocation from FG: there is no doubt about that. With 40-50% reduction in allocation, I don't see the way out for them. How many companies or international markets were there for them to generate internal revenue if I may ask? The farmers there are peasant farmers who prefers local instrument to mechanization as a result of inadequate funding. People like you like argument, but you always fail to do simple research. The matter on ground is not about APC nor PDP controlled state, Nigeria needs diversification of economy which the past administration failed to embark upon. Nigeria survived maximally before the discovery of oil, but it is incredible how we have neglected other sector after the discovery. to mention a few, I hope the following link can serve as an eye opener for you to know that Osun state is even not among the highest owing states in comparism with Plateau, Benue states etc that have been owing workers up to nine months. https://www.google.com.ng/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=_GVtVY-hPMjFuASX4oHQAg&gws_rd=ssl#q=We+borrow+to+pay+FG+workers+-+iweala%3F http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/183684-akwa-ibom-rivers-others-owe-workers-despite-receiving-highest-excess-crude-money.html 1 Like |

anonimi: Has FG with all the resources and external reserves in its disposal not been borrowing money to pay salaries? Although I am not here to vindicate inability of Aregbesola to pay his workers, but it is amazing how people like you will rush to ridicule anything apart from PDP controlled state without minding how deep GEJ's administration has rotten the affair of this country despite huge external reserve that have been depleted maximally under his administration. To know whether FG borrow to pay its workers or not, click on this link https://www.google.com.ng/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=_GVtVY-hPMjFuASX4oHQAg&gws_rd=ssl#q=We+borrow+to+pay+FG+workers+-+iweala%3F To know that Osun State is not the only states owing, click on this link - http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/183684-akwa-ibom-rivers-others-owe-workers-despite-receiving-highest-excess-crude-money.html If you have any other contrary proof to this link, you can bring it up and let's analyse it. 1 Like |

fitzmayowa: In apc supporters voice if Aragbese wasof another party I say baba will force him to pay salaries, probe him and jail him. No room for corruption democracy and immunity clause... nonsense. Will the Nass allow removal of immunity clause? @ least "mr integrity" can't do it alone. Its not some decree now. In 2011, Gej was the people's golden boi but before he left Aso rock, he became "clueless" 2day, baba is the love of many Nigerians, let's watch what baba will turn out to be as time unfolds 2 Likes |

How can he say he was not able to pay worker's salary because of declining federal allocation? Was he not supposed to generate revenue through other means? He can't possibly rely on federal allocation solely. War against corruption should be total. But then, asking Buhari to probe him is tantamount to biting the finger that fed him. He was part of the team that helped to "mid-wife" the success of his emergence to that position. So I don't see the probe coming from his end. 2 Likes |

The good people of Osun are reaping their reward now and that's what they want. They way they celebrate politicians here in osun shows how shallow and hollow the peoples mind are. Nobody, tactifully appraised AREGBESOLANTI's body language and policies before giving him another mandate. The same way they were singing oyin gidi gidi... when Oyinlola decamped to APC. Those are the guys that are castigating GEJ wherever and whenever they gather. Now they are ashamed to change it for aregbe, the bandit. The situation in osun is too appalling, even Tinubu is collecting his EGUNJE regularly from osun but the workers' reward is left in God's hands. If we must go to equity, we must do that with clean hands. Apart from PMB, the progenitors of change in Naija are just very dirty. Sometimes I wonder, how did we get it so wrong? May God help us all. 2 Likes |
