He just came out of a relationship some months back and the wound is still fresh
almost 5 years relationship. I knw with time it will heal, how much time sud i give him

Yeah babe,, he needs serious time to heal, give him 6 months plus. Scars of love dont leave so easily else he will never love you back instead he will take out his frustrations on you. Please dont rush him, try and be empathetic, he will come around in his own time

Suppose nature makes their path cross in the near future when you probably are already emotionally connected to him. How would you feel, do you think he would reject her if she comes begging? You must put all these factors into consideration before giving him the green light.
