Just heard from a reliable source that the Warri refinery would be resuming operations tomorrow and that crude oil has actually been pumped to the plant to commence refining of various products. Can anyone confirm this. Rumour also has it that the refinery has been functional but top management in NNPC were instructed not run the plant so as to allow importation of products. 5 Likes |

emalekuo:Bro, you might be right. A man from warri( urhobo man) once told me nothing was wrong with the warri refinery. I argued vehemently with him.Now see this. It simply means he knew what he was saying. Mind you he is into oil and gas business. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

emalekuo: The refineries are all in good working condition, the PDP government intentional closed down the refineries so that they can be importing fuel and inflating subsidy. Didn't you all read in the news that impatience Jonathan has ships importing fuel into the country? How will she make blood money if the refineries are allowed to work. What of Obasanjo that has refineries outside the country? How will he make bllod money if our refineries here work? BabaNoRegret is the saviour, he has not given any instruction, he has not sacked anybody, he has not arrested anybody or invite anyone for questioning, no ministers, no head of parastatals but everything is falling into place at the mention of the name Buhari. When the head is good, the whole body will be fine. But when the head is drunk with ogogoro and is in London hospital, the whole body will be staggering and fall into gutter. It is well with Nigeria and Nigerians. Amen. 76 Likes 3 Shares |

Just came across this..... Let us wait and see if the information is indeed factual. Succour may finally have come for Nigerians, after months of harrowing experiences occasioned by the ongoing scarcity of petroleum products, particularly petrol across the country. http://www.porscheclassy.com.ng/24751/warri-refinery-begins-production-in-two-weeks-to-produce-4-6m-litres-per-day-of-petrol 1 Like 2 Shares |

FORMER President of Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) and Trade Union Congress (TUC), Comrade Peter Esele disclosed yesterday that the major problem of the country's refineries is lack of adequate crude allocation to refine. http://allafrica.com/stories/201505181382.html 5 Likes 1 Share |

Thatz a great news, the beginning of youth development. Beginning of growth in petrochemical related companies; Beginning of strengthened Naira; Beginning of the end of subsidy scam; Beginning of employment generation; Beginning of NigerDelta development without the use of special Ministries and Agencies; Beginning of a predictable economy; Beginning of upward trend in NSE ASI for investor. Who else observed a more stable power supply? My friend told me its the seasonal efficiency of hydro dam (waiting till dry season) Kudos to GEJ thanks to Buhari 4 Likes 1 Share |
