Interesting. So could it mean that majority of Yoruba 'Lagosians' today are actually descendants of yoruba immigrants from other colonies who have settled in Lagos state to call Lagos their home town? Thus in effect, some self-described Yoruba 'Lagosians' aren't actually native to the state but in actuality immigrants to Lagos state?

Hardly will you find a Yoruba man who isn't from Lagos claim to be a lagos indigene (you can prove me wrong, point out one confirmed Yoruba person that has falsely claimed to be from Lagos ancestrally), but if you think because of that yorubas will not defend that city/state just like any other within the south west, then you must be joking.

Are you by any means referring to the Ilorin city that was graciously handed over to the Gambaris?
Do you mean to claim that Tinubu, Fashola and Ambode are aborigines of Lagos State?
Find some other c0ck and bull tales to tell...

I think Fmr Gov Tinubu is adopted son of the iyaloja of Lagos. Then Lagos is just a member of the Yoruba Country. The Oba is descended from Ologunkutere Son Of the Alagba Who came from Ijesa In Now Osun State. In Thesame Way you find Awori Descended people in ijesa

the British Protection Agreement For Ilorin Is With The Ajikobi Not Gambari. Hausas/Gambari are not allowed to be monarch in the majority of their own land, so Yoruba allowed someone a yoruba descended from Hausa to Be Emir In Ilorin. Tinubu And Ambode Are Indigenes Of Lagos whlie Fashola's Dad is probably buried in Lagos
