WHO ARE STUDENT DESIGNERS Student designers in this context are students from recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria or students from recognized Fashion outfits in Nigeria. The student might be in any level in the institution and might be studying any course. The fashion show is not restricted to students studying fashion designing alone because we want to give the entire student body the opportunity to build a career in the fashion industry. The following are the requirements of being a student designer eligible for the fashion show
• Student of a recognized Tertiary institution in Nigeria
• Student of a recognized fashion outfit in Nigeria
• Applicants who have completed their senior secondary examination.

CAMPUSES TO BE INVOLVED For the maiden edition of this show, applications would be received from students in any campus in Nigeria. There is no restriction to zone, Region, or to any campus. Applicants can be from any institution or fashion outfit in Nigeria. It is expected that applications would be received from over 30 institutions in Nigeria. From our research, it was discovered that there are some institutions that have a high number of fashion designers and it has been decided that aggressive publicity would be carried out in such campuses. Some selected campuses where intensive publicity would be carried out include (but not limited to) Covenant University, University of Lagos, Babcock University, Bowen University, Lagos State University, Olabisi Onabanjo University, University of Ibadan, University Of Benin, University of Port-Harcourt, Igbinedion University ,University of Ilorin amoung many others.

NUMBER OF DESIGNERS AND MODELS TO PARTICIPATE It is expected that over 100 applications would be received from various student designers .To this regard, there would be a pre-selection auditioning for the applicants from which 20 finalists would be selected. Each designer is expected to have a minimum of 6 models with no maximum depending on how he can maximize the time allotted to him. With our calculation of a minimum of 6 models per designer, we are expecting a minimum of 120 models on parade and the possibility of having over 250 models on parade is very high due to the fact that most designers would love to use more that 6 models.

NUMBER OF EXPECTED AUDIENCE With the publicity means and logistics on ground, it is expected that over 2000 guests would be present at the fashion show. Free tickets would be given out during the campaign and publicity. The campus would be stormed with our publicity. We have branded the show in such a way that students from various campuses would love to be present at the show in order to give support to their own school based designer.

PUBLICITY To carry out an aggressive publicity for the event, we have decided to involve several media outfits ranging from campus magazines, soft-sell magazines, Television channels amoung many others. We have also decided to advertise the event using the print media, television and radio media. Colourful and tasteful posters, flyers, banners would also be used to publicize the event. We are seriously working on having most campus based magazines advertise the show in their magazine as well as cover the event.

MEDIA SUPPORT Due to the nature and importance of this show, we have been able to get some media support from various media outfits. The media support gotten is from the print as well as the television media. We have also been able to get media support from campus magazines across the country and we are still working on getting more until all major campuses are covered. Presently, we have gotten media support from City People Magazine, Dynamixs Magazine, Bubbles Magazine, Hebron Magazine (Covenant University), Icon Magazine (All campuses based), Campus people Magazine, Encourer Magazine, News of the people Magazine amoung others.
