Who said so? I would love to have made a list of every car i have seen on the road with the wheel pull out. I had no opportunity to take pictures in most occassions so as soon as i saw this one, i had to snap it even while i was driving (dont say anything to FRSC pleazzzzzzze). I have seen the almighty Mercedes Benz, Peugeot Toyota, Mazda etc even a Man diesel truck. I know some one will say Honda happens too often. I have 2 replys: 1. There are more fake (chinko) replacement parts for honda than any other car manufacturer i know, what do you expect. 2. Other owners who didnt buy fake parts are either careless or broke. Broke in the sense that you know you have a problem but cant afford a fix so decided to manage till it happened. These days dealers even pass off fake parts as toks through dubious means. 6 Likes

Who has seen this before. I have seen it so many times mostly from new fake ball joints in which their stud breaks. I can risk buying fake upper arms and tie rod ends but would not risk buying low grade or fake lower arm (camber) ball joint. unfortunately it is the cheapest of the lot whether oem new, fake or toks. It is also the main culprit followed by tie rod end.

sch:I suggest you go to a Honda specialist and get the issue checked out. Also have the carburetor/injector checked. I've been using my car up to 5 months now and I've never washed the engine which I think I will not do. The best you can do to help your engine is to go to a trusted mech and tell him to use petrol and brush for you just to brush away the dust. I hope you find a way out soon. 1 Like |

Honda did have that problem...whatever the reason...I would hope they fixed it by now. The reasons you gave can be the reasons for the same problem in other cars too... but broken axle is/was a weakness in Honda cars...Acura included. No one never said axles are broken on Hondas only ....any vehicle can have a broken axle. |

Zizzle104: A very big lie at the bolded. I have driven my 2003 Accord V6 for 4 years now without any leg problem before. Always use OEM parts no matter the cost. 3 Likes |

sch: You guys don't take advice, Stop washing your engine with that high pressure water. IT IS BETTER TO DRIVE A DIRTY ENGINE THAN TO HAVE PROBLEM AFTER WASHING. I only hand wash my engine bay. 2 Likes |

lonelydora: Is that so and what dou mean by OEM |
Re: Who Said Honda Has A Wheel Problem (photo)? by lonelydora: 1:49pm On Jul 26, 2015 |
Zizzle104: OEM means ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER. In thus case, genuine Honda parts. |
Re: Who Said Honda Has A Wheel Problem (photo)? by DECOtech(m): 2:47pm On Jul 26, 2015 |
sch: The problem is in your engine harness connectors. Disconnect all wiring connectors and dry them. The engine washer must have sprayed them with water when using his pressure washer so u now have water in unwanted areas, bridging connections. Don't forget to check ur engine bay fuse box too. |

Zizzle104: If you dont buy it you will miss a lot! This particular honda feels so good that if you dont pay attention every thing will fall apart. It is still carelessness or negligence for any one to have a fail suspension without noticing a warning sign. |

lonelydora:You are on point here. Just add Toyota Sequoia to the mix and you are home and dry. However, I think I have seen a couple of Toyota Corollas (First Lady) in that awkward position too. It is not limited to the Hondas only... 3 Likes |

Just pay attention to unusual noise in any honda u use and u wont have the issue of the arm braeking or pulling off suddenly. That is the logic and i am enjoying me end of discussion for three years now adanny01: |

I'm not a Honda fan, but I'll have to agree with Adanny. Sub-standard suspension components. In addition: Poor maintenance - owners ignoring knocking, creaking and rattling from suspension components. Incorrect torque applied to critical load-bearing bolts, during strip down and re-assembly by Nigerian mechanics. Incorrect bolts used to secure critical load-bearing components, with the wrong tensile strength. Reusing critical load-bearing bolts, where Honda's Repair Manual states they must be replaced, once torqued to spec. Applying heat to aid the removal of seized load-bearing bolts, causing the bolts and the surrounding steel to fatigue. The Honda Accord is a fairly popular model in the UK, yet I have never seen ball joint or any critical front suspension component failure. I only became aware of front suspension failure through Nairaland, meaning it's a Nigerian issue, rather than a global Honda one. 12 Likes |

Siena: May be they do MOT on the wheels is such a shame that many people drive cars and very ignorant to basic things to cars i dont mind someone being ignorant but having the money to pay for whatever is s/he is charged but some nigerians are ignorant and what to pay peanuts for something that they dont even know a thing about |
