hamilton62: You have been protesting peacefully for years and nothing is being done. Unless the people take matters into their hands this is the kind of things you will continue to see. How can you drive on this road and not want to stone the governor? MY GOD!!!!! |

Demoladoc:because two wrongs don't make a right... there are positive ways of bestowing our grievances on them... the problem is that the average Nigerian is very corrupt and is an opportunist in the little chance given to him.... our problem is not our politicians but the average Nigerian... Any day the average Nigeria becomes sane in discerning and doing right thereby cull the canckerworm called corruption then the politicians will repent.... Most betray others even after shouting before their mouth were watered from the political sectors... |

it can be quite frustrating getting to cele bus stop each morning. I'm stuck in traffic at okota roundabout as I type this. The state of the Nigerian roads are an eyesore. You need to see Apapa which is where I'm heading to. SMH |

sukkot: Your idea is nice but it seems you don't live in Nigeria. Those in govt will rather give the contracts to their family members and even if you do get the contract you'll have to "share the money" among those who gave you the contracts in the first place. Believe it or not, roads as bad as that get allocation for renovation but those in power will rather buy new houses, cars and sleep with girls that are in the same age group with their kids. As long as the roads continue being bad, they continue to allocate and then loot the funds. That's the bitter truth |

If I were the Governor of this state, I will never fix the road, if I have my way I will rather make it worse. The inhabitants do not deserve anything good from the government of Lagos State |

Nothing ever changes there, that road has been in that deplorable state for well over a decade. No inspirations,no new ideas and no innovations. It is like a system that is firmly static and unprogressive. 2 Likes |

Re: Deplorable State Of Okota Road (PHOTOS) by redsun(m): 8:17pm On Jun 28, 2015 |
With these kind of roads in Nigerian cities,Nigerians don't really deserve to drive. Even horse pulled carriages can't vope on such roads. The concept of roads goes hand in hand with the concept of vehicular mechanism and that opens doors to a whole new world where things can be made at will and needs met. |
