Am pretty sure that list of so called last minute appointment consists of all nigerians and not more than 50%northerners otherwise that list wudd'av been valid. When sanusi brandished a very gud excuse to purge away southern bankers n bank owners, foools applauded. Now again da same foools dont know the agenda of these northerners. 1 Like |

A welcome development. Inter-Ministerial Task-Force would do a lot of justice to some dubious contracts. Meanwhile the New governments has a focus. |

The Joda Committee report appears to be a professional and well packaged document which, if followed, could point the direction to economic clarity. I think Mr. Buhari should make the document public. We need to know what happened, what is happening and offer suggestions on what should happen. |

calebo101:You just dey abuse everybody, Jonathan's people. I guess you're pained there are no more crumbs for you and your fellow supporters of the Poverty Distributing Party(PDP). Although I'm not a pro-Buhari, I wish him a successful and fruitful tenure. Indeed, it will take time to clear the rot caused by PDP's 16 years of misrule. |

gensteejay: Pained ke . Believe me when i tell you the life i live is what you pray to live. I live in your fantasy that's why i see beyond the useless propaganda sold to illiterates like you. Jonathan may not be the best but don't be fooled thinking Buhari has one magic wand. Rot caused by PDP 16 years. You want Obasanjo, Atiku, Amaechi, Saraki, Dino, and the whole hosts of others to clear the rot caused by them? When you guys talk sometimes i really wonder how foolish you think. You want to clear rot and you bring the same people to power? Is it the name PDP that's the problem? cos last time i checked 70% of APC members were once PDP members in the last 16 years. Stop fooling yourself and face reality. Pray for your nation and pray for yourself. 1 Like |

There are lots of work that need to be done. We easily forget history. Exactly what happened during the Yar adua govt that virtually every thing stopped in govt to probe and review this or that and at the end Nigeria was worse off. The President needs to hit the ground running, there is no time for all this time wasting probes that yield no tangible result at the end. Nigeria is drifting and the govt needs to take charge and start moving the country in the right direction to foster a more serious problems. |

lomprico: lomprico: My friend will you GET LOST and refrain from labelling anyone with a dissenting view different from yours as an APC supporter? Look at this joker! I'm not even a "pdp or apc" supporter but I'm sure I've benefited more from both their governments than you ever will! Does that mean if I see a proper effort to sanitise and check mate the "useless administrative practices" prevalent across the nation "inclusive of your beloved rivers state" , by the new government of PMB, I should now turn into an ostrich and bury my head in the sand and say no to sound reasoning? Generalisation as displayed by the contents of your vacuous post is a clear cut sign of the "shallow minded" members of any political space! Please swerve off my mentions in the near future since its obvious that "YOU lack" the "required skills to engage in or understand the most basic approach to constructive criticism"! Nonsense!!! |

calebo101: Sincerely I believe most of us Nigerians should try and see things for what they really are. When people talk about "16 years of rot by PDP...", "...destroyed country...", etc. I sometimes wonder whether we are referring to some distant geographic lands governed by a totally different set of humans... C'mon, everyone on the current political scene has been around and have been a part of the leadership of this country (in different capacities) at one point or the other! They have included your parents, uncles, aunts, sisters, brothers, friends, etc. Tagging every policy or governance decision ever implemented as bullshit just to show how supportive you are of the present government (or party as the case may be) is a direct indictment on our collective intelligence. Patriotic folks don't have to do that. Agreed we could have been better off as a country than we currently are, but that is not to say all the previous government, including "...the last 16 years..." did not make some progress! The present government of PMB will and can only build on the successes and learn from the failures of the previous government. He will still have to appoint us, same Nigerians, to help him do that. No party name can change anything. 1 Like |
