A Federal High Court in Lagos has dismissed the money laundering charges levelled against a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The trial judge, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, in a judgment on Wednesday, freed Fani-Kayode after holding that “the prosecution case is feeble” and had failed to prove the allegations against the accused person beyond reasonable doubt.

I am not surprised. So many thieves who have GCFR in looting are walking free and many of them still hold key positions in government. Take it or leave it, FFK still has friends in high places and his alleged laundering case was dead on arrival. For the common man, they say Stealing but for a big man, na money laundering . What is the difference?

I pray PMB would be able to fight corruption because I look around him, his party, NASS, HOR etc, all I see are thieves.
