Britain is the worst country to have colonized Nigeria. The only good thing they did are avenues to enrich themselves. Only to farment problems as far as their backside are covered.
I wish our government will have strong nationalistic policies against countries. But na overdreaming. Our govt is busy massaging the balls of countries that have notn postive for us.

everything about the UK is stiff, the way they walk, talk and their laws. naija students over there una don hear am, come bck home after studies. lets join hands and develop our beloved naija

This seems rather cold, they're talking like the foreign fees are chicken change. Are they taking away the 20 hours during term time work (and the unlimited during holidays)? If so, that is highly unfair. They like to frustrate actual non-EU legal immigrants with these laws.

I think America will go through a similar practice soon, but with Mexicans, our largest influx of immigrants.

Immigrants cheapen the workforce.. what any native can do, another immigrant can and will do the same job for cheap. Natives dont like this because they have a higher standard of living to maintain, while immigrants will live anywhere at the current time.

There's a myriad of bigger issues which causes stigmas like this and policies like this are a result of not dealing with underlying problems. Nigerians can excel at home as much as they will in the UK, US, etc but if your killed by BH or some other preventable accident, your govt or police dont care about you. You could work just hard in Nigeria but the value of your labors is cheapened by the results of decades of failed and unaccountable leadership... who wouldnt want to run elsewhere to work cheaply?? and Yes, race plays a factor in all this.

this is only the beginning in unraveling centuries of backward policies and wayward thinking.

That information is power that should to us.
They should do something about it. Staying in the UK without working as a student is almost impossible. They need that work.

Well, I vehemently believe that once our Naija education system is good enough, we won't have to be kicked around by these olofofo countries. Their pride is just too much, we are even better than them. #Our leaders should pls improve our education system#

The British natives have developed a habit to blame everyone else but themselves for their woes and the economic hardship bedevilling their country and Europe. Today they moan about EU migrants taking up top jobs and protest on leaving the European union if certain rules are not amended in Brussels, next day they fault non-EU immigrants. Who are they deceiving?. They never fault their lazy citizens who depends on state handouts for livelihood and teenagers who keeps breeding on council flats. Nonsense.

Foreign students are entitled to only 20hours per week employment which doesn't amount to nothing in a country where cost of living is extremely high and among the top nations of high taxation. Foreign students particularly Nigerians should focus on migrating to Canada where they stand a better chance of securing residence after their studies than the UK. Britain should be for students who intends of moving back home after studies and nothing else.

C'mon. Why do you always think everything is about Nigerians?

Indians, Pakistanis, Chinese etc have larger numbers than Nigerians so no the target is not Nigeria.

The UK already had an Influx from EU countries countries they cannot control so the natural target to control immigration is non EU citizens simple.
