Last week Governor Ambode directed the Task Force on Environmental Sanitation and other Special Offences to carry out full enforcement of the law restricting street trading. He also said street traders should sell their wares in the market and that if they continue to sell on the street, they will be arrested and prosecuted. Unfortunately the Governor's word is just a mere talk that is not backed by action. As at last week and yesterday, the street traders are back at Iyana Ipaja. No one have been arrested and prosecuted.
