Hello! A topic from this section made front page. And when I wanted to leave a comment, I was met by this "are you a Muslim? If you are, click yes and it would appear on your profile" (first screenshot). I clicked "yes" and true to it, it is now on my profile. (second screenshot)

Note: I'm not sure if one can comment if one clicked no.

Although I'm a Muslim, I find this offensive and I liken it to the yellow badge given to the Jews by the Germans before and during world war ii. How can my profile on an online forum be have a I "believe that there is no god/God but Allah and Muhammad is His Prophet." How?

I don't know what led to this and I don't know why, but I don't want. I would rather leave this forum than have a badge follow me up and down. Even as I'm typing this, I'm so irritated. Please the moderators, super-moderators and admin should look into this and remove it from my profile. Thank you.

I am. My comment was even to an atheist who said we Muslims should shop deceiving ourselves that the moon never disappeared. I simply told him we never said the moon disappeared and he doesn't understand how moon sighting works.

Besides, are non-Muslims forbidden from posting replies in this section?
And are Muslims forbidden from posting replies on Christian threads?

I don't like educated illiterates engaging me really. It is stated point blank before one comments in Islam thread that the oath will be added to one's profile. Ranting after accepting the condition is what still baffles me.
