For hospital,
Go to Garki hospital they are charging 27k for medicals and it takes 2 to 3days for the result to come out.
The turkish hospital is too expensive. The Asokoro general hospital has been suspended for now.
PCC in Abuja (louse Edet house) cost 10k and is available after 3days because they hv to send it to lagos and come back via courer
Remainber that all this PCC must be attestated both in MOFA and UAE Embassy here in Abuja, while the medicals is only at UAE Embassy.

Yes, you can scan and/or FedEx to your friend. Just make sure the person also has your passport photo in hard copy to attach to the form.

Who told u that there are no Jobs in UAE? when People are busy changing jobs and getting residence visas, if you don't get a job in UAE, then its either you were not prepared or maybe your village ppl traveled with you.

Do it in Nigeria, so you would have time to search for a job in UAE when the result is out. cos if u do so in UAE, then u can't use the result as i heard it takes some month to be ready.

Hello my people, after authenticating and attested of my Police Character Certificate in Abuja and sent to the agent in Dubai to collect the visa out for me, (working visa) the agent only send a screenshot that contain application number

He said, the employment visa, according to the new law, countries that have UAE embassy in their country like Nigeria, when their visa is out, they send them the visa application form that contain application number, then print and take it to the UAE embassy themself to put the sticker on their passport by the consulate and can travel then, there is no other procedure on arriving to UAE like before.

This are the documents I was asked to take alongs to the UAE embassy:
1) passport copy
2 ) Drivers licence (Because I applied for a driving work under RTA)
3) Education Certificates
4) Police Clearance Certificate
5) 4 passport size photos
6) Print out of Visa application form.
And any other relevant documents. The sticker is ready at the consulate in Nigeria.

hello natty I think its part of the new rules ooo remember someone posted the requirements in the last page I think the medicals/sticker visa is clearly stated there for work visa only its really beginning to look frighten ing though especially with the cost of the medicals and the fact that u have attest again at mofa and use embassy,hope one will not die doing various attestation b4 getting to the uae self. my advise if you are processing work visa try and delay your travel to Abuja till you get to medical stage then with like 200k you should be able to complete everything with medical alone been 72k

It's always a hard call to make for people to take such leaps. Nothing is sure in life. We win some and loose some...even with proper planning. Funny thing is some people won't even plan ahead but they get there and things fall in place for them while some with all their planning would still fail. That's why it's difficult to generalise. If u ask which is better for now...searching in an underdeveloped and unplanned nation with about 200 million people and searching in a developing and planned place like the UAE, my bet will tilt more to the latter for now cos Nigeria is just hmmm...Nigeria

Well, I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion but we shouldn't let personal experience lead to frustrated advice. Personally, I call UAE a land of opportunity. Business or travelling if you ask me I'll tell u all revolves around taking risk of uncertainty. Come Oriented! Come Prepared job is sure for u.
