princeofpeace22: Nonsense! BuBu is sharing not working. Meanwhile, all u see or hear is crude account, oil this, NLNG that, NNPC this, excess crude that..... My question is this: what do other parts of this country contribute other than sharing? BuBu said and I quote " ....the political reality is that we don't expect those who gave him 97 % votes to be treated the same as those who gave him 5%...." Or something close to that. Now if he thinks that's fair, how come he failed to realize that those who gave him 5% are the ones who produce and contribute 100% of this money they are sharing? How does BuBu intend to treat them differently from those who gave him 97% votes? You see, BuBu needs to tread carefully. He needs to be fair based on what each state contributes to the national coffers. He can share his "juicy" posts with his party members but he shouldn't marginalize states based on votes. I wish him all the best and God's protection. He will succeed by God's grace and Nigerians will not regret voting him. God bless Nigeria! |

hinwazaka:You're trying to be clever by a half, are you inferring that the permanent sec of the ministry of finance is handicapped in anyway as to not see through your fears born out of bitterness.... Truth be told, you'll definitely not see anything good as far as this government is concerned... |

princeofpeace22: I am not in anyway affected by what goes on in Nigeria. I am concerned about people like u. We are drifting apart as a people daily and I had expected that APC and BuBu would halt the slide. We need unity at all cost. Not division. If pmb wants to be remembered as a great leader, this is the time to lay the foundation. He needs to emulate the great Madiba, Nelson Mandella and not the likes of Mugabe. He needs to show forgiveness and true statesmanship, as well as great sportsmanship. Is that too much to ask? 1 Like |

hinwazaka:The presidency has made it known that he would be appointing ministers in September after processes, procedures and leak-tight systems have been built. You should understand that no major policy would be implemented before then except for the routine exercises. Going by your analogy, the surgery isnt going to be done until the neuro surgeon arrives. What's too much to understand in that? 1 Like |

Unless we wake up to reality, Nigeria will remain stagnated. The system we practice, a share and chop system, is never taking us anywhere good. We need to restructure the system to make the government at the state levels more responsible and accountable. You share to them now, next is to sponsor pedophile. Rubbish! |

obailala:Perm secs who do not have the authority to demand for a clear and precise financial blueprint on how the funds will be disbursed Perm secs who can not track the trail of the funds from the Federation account to the respective accounts of the states and then to whatever expenditure be it capital or recurrent:most of this governors make capital expenditure their cornerstone due to the ambiguity of expenditure. Perm secs who can be clever with creative accounting when there is no one to monitor them, the Gowon administration was plagued with such scandals. There is need for proper protocols and procedures so that when you fall, you don't fall on your face FYI: Ngozi will show you pretty soon why you need a minister when she is asked to. She has her numbers intact, her only error was breaking protocol not financial impropriety |

hinwazaka:And in the absence of a finance minister and with the full backing and authority of the president, you still think the perm sec cannot act as the minister for these few months?.... |
Re: FG And States Share Another N518.542b June Federation Revenue by hinwazaka: 2:21pm On Jul 25, 2015 |
noblegrex:Ministers are equivalent to branch managers while perm secs are like supervisors. Fine the supervisors get stuck with all the paperwork and are responsible for the last minute deals which make or mar the activities undertaken by the firm. But they don't have the political or corporate sagacity to handle the various political workings in a firm. Workers will see them as friends, colleagues and partners but not as BOSSES. Many a stupid, eccentric board chairmen have given this a try and have come off worse. In this green earth there is the need for a chain of command. Break the chain and you indirectly break the command |

Some saTANoids are just so stupid for crying out loud! What do you expect him to do instead? Keep the money under the covers and share among his cronies like your dullard and clueless mungo-park wearing ex-President did? Believe me the state and local governents must give account of what they did with these monies our able PMB is sharing cos like he said every government parastatal would have to champion the cause of anti-corruption so it doesn't come down to the issue of not only sharing money but also being accountable for it as well. Now he tells you how much he has shared to the state governments please tell me when did Jona ever do such and made it public? This is what transparency is all about so you uninformed ingrates can all have access to more information and be able to claim your rights in the event that you don't see any meaningful results from your state and local governments. 1 Like |
