Sudan was also colonized by Britain but u will never catch her President speak one word of english. I am sure it is not that he does not understand it probably have to do with fluency in d language. The last 2 Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan & Buhari has a very poor command & grasp of d English Language.

And since we Nigerians rather than elect an eloquent speaker of d queens language we succumb to tribal sentiments electing half illetrates to stare d affairs of this country.

I think rather than these guys disgracing us any further they should just speak their mother tongues when they are on international assigments & let d interpreters do d rest.

Even mumur gaddafi could speak italian fluently yet u never hear him speak that language. So what is wrong with our leaders speaking their mother tongue.

2019 we should make sure d next president wether from east, west, north, & south should be able to comminucate in both their mother tongue & in english.

But it is strange thus OBJ sef did not go to school but he is a very confident speaker of d english language so what was wrong with Jonathan despite having a Phd undecided

This your suggestion came up because Buhari is muddling up English. Well I support it so that pmb will stop embarrassing the country..This sort of suggestion won't come up during Gej's tenure for sure.

GEJ lacked confidence when he first got there. I noticed after 6 years at d saddle his confidence increased and his eloquence at saying things as they were also improved remarkably.

Buhari might also be suffering from a confidence issue too. But being an ex soldier say it as it is. OBJ did not go to school but stood his ground in that programe " hard talk" so may be it is a confidence issue.
