[center]After the third world war, the next wars would be fought with stone, sticks and
rocks, this was how Albert Einstein put the catastrophic destruction and
apocalypse of civilization which the third world war would leave at its wake.
for those who are not very familiar with history and its wars, the first
question might be what gives a war the right of been referred to as a world war?
well simply put, a world war is characterised by two things mainly

1. The geographical scope. while other wars like civil and inter country are
usually limited to a particular geographical land, water and airspace, the world
wars are not limited, its usually fought and affects all continents, and the
third world war of course will exceed all other wars in geographical scope
because science and technology has given a new fighting ground for war which is
land, water, air and the new guy, SPACE.

2. The totality in terms of arsenal use. in ordinary wars, their is always a
limitation in the use of weaponry, the rules of war abide, poison gas and
biological weapons are not allowed, nuclear bombs and weapons are off zone, the
gulf war of 1990-1991 saw a limited use of arsenal, the Vietnam war, Korean war,
all saw a limited use of arsenal, but these wars compared to a world war is just
a game, a child's game, the cap is removed in the world war, morality does not
matter, weapons are unleashed not minding its devastating outcome, biological,
psychological, nuclear, howitzers, flame throwers, submarines, anti tank, anti
aircraft, air to surface, surface to surface, air to air, remote guided,
satellite guided, missile guided bombs are used, civilians are killed to
demoralise the country, air raid and ground and water raids are carried out
against the country in order to make the government concede everything capable
of killing scientifically is used to foster war and victory in a world war,
survival and victory is all that matters in this kind of war.
is the third world war avoidable?
after every war, a treaty, a peace talk, an organization is formed to "keep the
peace" to look into the immediate and remote causes of the war and make sure
another war does not occur, this is usually organized by the victorious
countries , the first world war saw the formation of a league, an organization
which has the major aim of preventing war, an organization with the major aim
of safeguarding the peace of the people and their government, it looked into
areas where their is conflict which has not turned to war, and tries to resolve
the issue, it also tried to use balancing of power, whereby an aggressive country
or war mongering country faces the wrath of the whole countries in the league
convinced that its act of aggression would not be beneficial to itself, the
country seeks a more pacific approach to its grievances, the league tried to
use two approaches, peaceful, pacifism and when this was not enough it tries
using force or better deterrence or even balancing of power.
how did the league fare? on its first major problem, it failed.
this failure of the league led to a more catastrophic end, the second world
war,

after the second world war, the nations of the world reeling from the pain, the
destruction, the death the second world war and the threat of Nazism caused
sought to put their hope in a new organization which not wanting the failure of
the league to affect they called, the united nations organization.
How has the U.N fared?
Well, hmmn, a Luke warm, average, mixed minded pass mark.
confronted with the threat of the cold war, the united nations not strong
enough to quench the bitter rivalry between the two superpowers of that time,
the west's champion, the USA versus the champion of the east the soviet union
stood frozen and cataleptic as the two superpowers rivalled it out, praying that
it would not descend into war, the world expected the sudden disappearance and
demise of a fledging homo sapiens civilization as acute brinkmanship played out
during the Cuban missile crises of October 29, 1962 as the warships of the
soviet union and American warships stood playing the game of blink first while
the united nation and whole world held their breath knowing that a shot fired,
even a loud noise, a loud cough could reduce to a strategic exchange of nuclear
warheads, while American policy was mutual assured destruction, the soviet
policy in fighting nuclear war was a policy of total victory over the enemy
which would result to the waste of lives while the united nation stood sulking
and afraid, the Korean war, Vietnam war, put the peace of world under strain but
the united nations could do nothing, also the wars of the 21st century has
proved so far that while the united nations can respond albeit strongly and
efficiently to humanitarian crises when it comes to stopping wars it is a total
duck, the head of government of countries are given the opportunity to say all
they like, the powers of the world do as they like.
war and conflict is part of human nature, war technology is an eccentric,
important way of the homo sapiens civilization, while pacifist and idealist can
say, condemn war, animals fight, humans fight, nations are just a conglomeration
of nations and animals, nations must fight, if not, the American government just
tested it super jet, able to pass the speed of sound, the f-35, also the Russian
armata tank system, the Chinese jet like j-55 with its nice avionics, the
Russian sukhoi 35, the French rafale fighter, the Japanese Soyuz, nations keep
on preparing for war, the third world war is a surity.
looking at the spate of world politic, I will say that mankind is sitting on a gunpowder keg waiting to be blown up, from the prophecies of the bible, Nostradamus, and many political scientist, it is bound to happen.[/center]

Third world war ...Earth uprooting!

If all ends are strong enough to maintain a good balance (in warpower), WWIII won't happen.
No nation can predict the capacity of another in this age. Even as small as NKorea is, WorldWarpowers can't predict its capabilities.

It can fail but has not failed for now.
Balance of warpower is the reason why Syria is still at war today, the west would have moved in to achieve their goal.

Balance of warpower is the reason Ukraine is still holding on to its disputed region.

Balance of warpower is still the reason why NKorea is growing its nuclear warheads today.

Aside the biological warfare, today we have left the atomic bomb for cobalt bomb, then to Hbomb to others. Like that is not enough, the earth orbit is fill with stars that can destroy a continent at a press of a button.

Africa is still challenged with her security issue due to poor investment in warfare.

Its either we balance the power or we surrender the power to a Nation, we know that's dangerous anyway.
