Igbos also saw nothing wrong with Ironsi's Unification Degree which forcefully amalgamated further the Igbos, Hausa-Fulanis and Yorubas who had no historical ties to one another? Why did Igbos not protest publicly against Zik and Ironsi for trying to forcefully unify Nigeria despite they (Igbos) knew fully well that Nigerian tribes had no historical ties with one another? Why did Igbos labell Awolowo as a tribalist for saying that Nigeria is a mere geographical expression whereas he by that actually meant that Nigerian tribes had no historical ties and which was the blunt fact?
