I am not writing this post as a politician or a fanatic believer of President Burahi. I write as someone who craves for a better Nigeria.
I left school for home on Friday and got home around 7.15pm. Since then till now, they have been uninterrupted power supply. I kept anticipating when they would take it off as usual but my little bro kept telling me to keep dreaming. I must confess, I have never witnessed a 48hrs power supply at a stretch, not even while spending my hols in Ikorodu power station. The most we had was around 18hrs per day then.
Secondly, I drove into a feeling station and bought gasoline at #87/litre. I wondered if they have added #10 back to our subsidy. No queue, no hassle!
Don't get me wrong, I am not an advocate for PMB. In fact, I wasn't eligible to vote for him because I worked as an INEC ADHOC staff. I initially even joined people to call him a religion extremist.
Forget politics, forget religion and support what is working towards a better Nigeria.
A better Nigeria is all what I pray for!
PM : I don't live in GRA. I live in Adegbayi along New Ife road, Ibadan in case you want to confirm.

Good observation. This is the first time i will enjoy constant power supply (though 2 days on, 1 day off) in Meiran Area of Lagos State. And also with the reduction in fuel price I now spend 3 hundred naira on fuel on off days. I see a better Nigeria if we can all leave sentiment aside.
PS: I'm not saying we should embrace mediocrity.

Are you aware of the dams and other projects that has lead to this? If not I don't mind posting them because we seem to have a lack of knowledge of the projects completed or started by GEJ.

hey! You are so on point but the thing is when things like these happens (be it good or bad), the current administration takes the glory or blame. So please leave Past President Jonathan outta this as he has done his part. Or should we blame him for the bokoharam menace?

Did you look at the links at all most of those projects were done up until May 7th please don't be offended that I ask you to fill your head with more knowledge, understanding and correct information. Please show us where Buhari administration has done anything in the industry especially since no one is directing the ministry. You made an observation and I gave you information how it came about and you want to pout like a angry child that mommie told to do homework? Reading does not harm the brain it helps it undecided kiss

Obviously you do support mediocrity because you would be pushing the current administration to get to work with continuing the progress. You are part of the problem if you are not part of the solutions. If these ministries don't start getting to work what Nigerians spent millions to put in place these 5 years will fall into disarray. When you support inaction you are part of the problem.

like you ain't getting me, there's no point in reading it since i'm not supporting any party. Truly reading doesn't harm the brain but there are other productive things to read to build myself againt the forthcoming challenges of life.
And you don't have to be rude to prove a point as that won't force me to reason like you do.

excuse me if I was rude, but let me get what your saying. It is not important to find out and read proof of what your leaders did with your money for 5 years. But it is important to just assume they did nothing even though it is documented. It is not also important to share truth and stay away from speading falsehood. It is also better to dwell in ignorance about what is going on in the country, but you want the country to get better?

Leaders are a reflection of the people they lead I cry for this country, if the youth don't give a dam who will?

Stop this nonsense you keep spewing.

All facilities you tslk about have been there long before Jona was kicked out and they didn't make electricity available.
We have done this topic to death and many forumites accept that had GEJ won the election, electricity wouldn't have improved. He personally even said it in March that power supply will improve within 12 and 15 months as at then.
OP, I am on my way out now. When I return I will explain more on this with links to prove that Jona was a scam.

sister, weren't those dams and other facilities working before May 29? If u say it's because of the rainy season, were there not rainy seasons in Jonathan 5 years or did this year's rain start after May 29? Ok! U say power plants built by Jonathan. Nobody is disputing that. Since May 29, Buhari hasn't commissioned a power facility(means we're using the same facilities used under Jonathan) why is there suddenly constant power supply?

Obviously you did not look at the links I provided by Minister of Power Dr Nedo. All timelines, action plans etc are available on slideshare in 2012 all your answers are in the 2012 2014 slides published for the public because of GEJ information act. It is our duties as citizens to use are cognitive thinking skills and intelligence to get answers. It is a time of propaganda and deceit so it is better for you to look at the evidence and proof that GEJ ministers provided to the public. We are blessed to be in the Information Age. The slides will not take up much of your time, try an look at them so we can discuss it based on the material provided by the last administration.

What you posted was dated November 2014 and the recent was Feb. 2015, how come these changes weren't noticed then? Its simple, the people working with Jonathan administration have no regard for him. Mere presence of Buhari was what re-enforce discipline across all government parastatals, the Port Harcourt refinery has already raised its operational capacity to about 60 per cent of its 210, 000 barrels per day (bpd) capacity, while production at Warri refinery was projected to hit 80 per cent of installed 125,000 bpd capacity.

http://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/oil-and-gas/187477-port-harcourt-warri-refineries-commence-production-says-nnpc.html

We need leader that know what he is doing and Buhari is that person.

Good talk and my point exactly. Yesterday I was involved in a similar arguement with his type.
The arguement became heated when I told him a simple truth, That many people campaigned and voted for Buhari on account of their belief and of their own free will. Unlike GEJ where it was all about money. He got personal o!

You are very correct here. I went to the Nigerian Embassy in Illovo to renew my passport. Without knowing anyone, without bribing anyone, I was in and out with capturing and all. Despite the fact that the previous capturing Days (tuesday's and Thursday's) crowd was present on d day I went for the capturing. Reason being that PMB was visiting hence, they could not operate for those 2days. Omo the visit worked like magic as Embassy staff was very professional. Same people that would give u hell before o!

I wonder why GEJ would lay the grounds, I mean pave the way for PMB to rubbish him? GEJ was drowning, he would have told Nigerians that all that is working now would be working in 3months after his re-election as a straw to hold on to. Instead, they were busy with character assasination as campaign tool. What a purposeless purposelessness, directionless directionlessness and above all, Clueless Cluelessness.

Their supporters have lost common sense of reasoning.

Why Jona failed to even campaign with any of these issues should make teenagers understand that there was no plan to make them work within reasonably foreseeable period. In the case of refineries, they clearly told us 2016 even though it was a scam. In the case of electricity, Jona himself said in March that it's between 12 and 15 months.
Is it that they've chosen to be unreasonable or have been blinded by bigotry?

I don't blame these teenagers, they grew up with knowing only one way to do things in Nigeria(the crooked way) to them, Corruption is a way of life, a culture that makes you hype or in local parlance Soji(wakeup)
A generation that believes in Special centres for examinations. A generation that believes in "Get rich by anymeans or die trying" how do you sell common sense and Right Values to these people ehn? How?
