Whoever wants to stop this moving train of anti-graft w*r will be cr*shed! No one ever survives standing in front of a moving train except that he doesn't witness the second day on earth surface. That's exactly the fate awaiting those planning or plotting to stop this anti-corruption crusade of Buhari-led government. This is just a tip of iceberg. We shall see more in a couple of weeks. This is the battle that we must win.

This battle will be bigger than the battle against boko Haram. As Boko Haram insurgents are being defeated in three months, as a deadline set by Mr Buhari, this battle against corrupt public officers will continue till Buhari finishes his first and second term in office. Then, whoever takes over from Buhari will continue from where he stopped. It is going to be a long battle that may even extend to the next generation of generations.

This is because corruption in Nigeria has become a hereditary disease of past generations. The same disease has been passed on to our own this present generation. The bl00d of today's children that we breed is automatically contaminated with the same hereditary ailment of endemic corruption. So, we can then see why this battle is going to be a toughest, longest battle in the history modern world. Are we prepared?

The net to catch crayfish is different to the net to catch a shark now. In fact the tugboat , the personnel and technology you use are different. The sharks will fight back ruthlessly hence you must be strong and ready to catch it, while preparing for the sharks you can be warming up with the crayfish nau. No be so?

Actually, you catch smaller fish to use as bait to catch sharks.

These civil servants thhat collect tax deductions and do not remit it to the FIRS and make contractors pay triple taxation - all departments of government - from MDG's - infact all the MDA's

Am waiting for a nice thread from my friend barcanista detailing how this is not how corruption is fought and how due process was not followed.

People are depriving millions of Nigerians good life, amenities, sound health etc without due process you are waiting for a well constituted UK and US courts we don't have to probe, investigate, recover and jail them.

Corruption is the only reason why there are still villages in the creeks without access roads, clean potable water, good hospitals and electricity in the midst of plenty resources.

All corrupt officials must return their loot or face kirikiri. This is no longer the period of 'stealing is not corruption'. Stealing is now a big corruption that may possibly land you in jail. Seun osewa, you are not exempted from this anti-corruption war tongue

There's nothing unconstitutional in recovering money and properties people acquired but can't account for. These people deprived millions of Nigerians the dividend of democracy and I wonder why any sensible person(s) could even pity them or condemn any process put in place to recover the stolen money and, bring these unfortunate thievies and their accomplices to justice.

We tend to have sympathy for corrupt officials whenever they are caught either due to tribal leanings, religious affiliations, our own tendency to act in their manner when we get to such position or utter stupidity but no one remember the millions of Nigerians that continue to be regarded as poor because they live on less than $2 per day, millions who have lost their lives in the hands of Boko Haram including soldiers due to the diversion of money meant for purchase of arms, ammunitions and other things needed to fight the war, no one remember the reason why education in Nigeria is crap; why the hospitals are like an awaiting mortuary because the ministers kept diverting funds meant for development; why there are millions of youths without jobs yet we feel and tend to abuse or criticize the way someone leading the country on how to go about setting things right.

What part of the constitution says a civil servant should steal money and own 18 properties ? What part of the constitution says a minister who declared less than 10 million naira after his appointment should worth over 1 billion dollars on completion of his tenure ? If the ministers didn't follow due process that come with the discharge of their responsibilities ; why should they need any due process when they are asked to account for their stewardship ?

It's time we left the path of pitiness of known corrupt officials and do whatever it takes to bring them to justice so that it will serve as deterrent to would-be ministers and also an indication that it's no longer business as usual in Nigeria.

On this premise, I say no to Abdul salam, Bishop Kukah and whosoever have sympathy for corrupt politicians.

May God bless you jare, just my thought the earlier we all realise this, the better for allof us

Let's the intellectualas keepdruming it into their ear that sympathy for the corrupt make you an acomplice
