A terrible tragic accident involving a trailer and an 18-sitter bus occurred yesterday afternoon along Lagos-Ibadan Express road.

I'll have to put the blame on the contractors and the govt. They force motorists to face one way at sections of the undone/ uncompleted constructions, this is without due warning or demarcation of the road. Why would there be an head on collision if they were both traveling at opposite sides of the expressway.

There's no blood sucker causing this. In developed countries no construction company will construct such narrow express way and will be accepted by govt. I was like what's this when I travelled through it few months ago. A busy express way like lagos-ibadan deserves wider 4 lanes. it's so sad that bad governance has pushed us into celebrating mediocres at the helms of affairs of our governance.
