Soon enough wailers would understand Tinubu as failing in line with the integrity stand of GMB and Saraki would have no choice but to fail in the same line sooner or later before he can preside successfully over the senate. PDP/looters charade of trying to truncate the anti corruption fught of GMB using the proxy Saraki is a million % guaranteed to fail.

You're not a baby!!! undecided

Stop allowing yourself to be spoonfed propaganda while you remain docile!!!! Use your head man!! Use your head!!

Saraki got a vote of confidence from 87 out of 105 senators....bubu and nubu would be the ones begging or lobbying him or they would get nothing from his senate not the other way round......why do you think bubu has failed to send any nominations to them It is because it won't pass as things stand right now so he is trying to use the elections petitions tribunal to unseat as many of them and he will still fail woefully at that because there would be appeal upon appeal lasting more than a year and the government can not stay in limbo for that long so bubu will still have to lobby the opposition NASS members he is antagonizing and they will cut him down to size!!!!

Nubu's relevance is only on newspaper pages!!

The question is credibility. President Buhari got elected on the over whelming desire of Nigeria for the rule of law and end to impunity. Saraki has a pending serious corruption allegation against him and his wife. Saraki presidency of Nigeria senate is a national embarrassment. APC just like PDP is a combination of evil doers and saint wannabes.
Saraki and David Mark represent the selfishness and corruption of our government in totality.
Tinubu is not a saint. But he represent the possibility of the changes that are possible. The change in government today were the result of all members of the APC family.
One man stood out for special thanks for the original strategic management of the master plan, that man is Tinubu. Tinubu and Buhari were the combination that brought about the change we have today. For better for worse APC is in power..
Saraki lack of understanding of public relations and respect for constituted authority shall continue to land him in hot water.

No one yet on Tinubu's political sponsorship has ever failed.

If you know one please point them out!

Saraki's trouble is internal demons in his own spirit. They have led him to defy the #1 and #2 leaders of the land. In addition he is at odds with the ruling party. Do the maths....Tinubu is the least of his troubles.

Akeredolu,Fayemi,Gbajabiamilla, lawan etc were all Tinubu's annointed candidates and they all failed woefully

you sure got the point
neither is Nigeria a yorubaland... thats what i was getting at
Nigeria is made up up many lands and culture, so we shouldnt always assume that the rest of Nigeria must act the way we do in our tribal enclaves

Your point of view is skewed. The APC is a national party with more than twice as many states in the north than in the south west. If Tinubu is able to dominate the south West, the nation can increasingly see that he has trouble dealing with independent minded people. Saraki is not a major issue for the apc right now and the trouble gbaja has was in part because of his perceived closeness to him. Is there any political philosophy you can say he believes in, what will he leave behind? Certainly nothing close to Awolowo. He has shown his ambitions early and there will be resistance. Where is Mamora now, a widely admired politician tossed aside because? Over the next four years we will all observe the curtailing of his ambitions on the national scene. Mark my words.

Can you even imagine!!! This useless journalists want everyone to worship their local champion. What is wrong If Saraki calls Tinubu by his name Bola? The age difference between them isn't much. Do they expect him to call him uncle when the age difference between them is barely about a decade?

Bros, You said the difference is about a decade. If someone is older than you by just months in SW (even at the advent of civilization), it is expected that you should respect the person and call him/her '' brother/sister. 10 years is lot oh.

Brother,to call address someone who's older than you by at least 5 years,(some people 2 years )is the biggest insult in Yorubaland. And you must talk to anyone who's older than you by addressing them as "E" which is plural form  instead of "O" which is the singular. You must address someone older by "Eyin" meaning plural form of you instead of "Iwo" which is singular form of you. He should have addressed him as Asiwaju. He'd even feel really humiliated if someone younger addresses him as "Iwo" instead of Eyin",how would he feel if a 30 something year old guy comes over and calls him Bukola?  He'd feel like the earth should just open up and swallow him.
My Elder brother is just a year older than I am and I can never call him by his first name or address him by "o" or "iwo". Its very important in yorubaland,we don't take it lightly
If someone that's obviously younger addresses anyone by Iwo(Singular) or call you by your first name or greets you that way,you don't answer and some would call him back and insult that younger fellow for being disrespectful or even beat the hell out of the younger fellow. Don't get me wrong, that still exists very much in yorubaland even though this is 21st century. If It's someone you don't want to respect, maybe someone you don't like, you either address the person by speaking English or pidgin, and yet,you don't call the person by name, you may call the person Chairman. But the English you're speaking won't make the plural way of addressing the elders reflect

I'm sure that not all part of Nigeria is Yorubaland
the reason is say this is because there are more yorubas in UK than any other Nigerian tribe
and guess what, I call all of them by their first names except those outside my circle of official engagement

i've never heard them retort that in yorubaland, its disrespectful

Hope u know say Bola and Olusola they roll together well well for UK

All this mgbati newspapers trying to keep the image of their inconsequential local champion alive. If Saraki became Senate President and got a vote of confidence from 81 senators without Tinubu"s support then he dosent need him.

Tinubu should even be the one trying to make peace with Saraki else his candidates would not pass the senatorial screening

Saraki has nothing to lose by ignoring or snubbing Tinubu. This propaganda is dead on arrival

Why then is he running from pillar to post for acceptance from the party hierarchy? He who weare the shoe knows where it pinches!

Stop saying what you dont know, as a fulani man saraki will address Tinubu as maigida or yalabyi or rankadede.
We all know that igbo can call their elders by name.
Money is respected not elders in the south east.

It's evident in the advice given when leaving home.

Yoruba advice: Remember the name of the family and don't soil it.

Igbo advice: Dont come back without money.

Buhari needs saraki more than saraki needs him.The NASS has oversight fxns over the activities of the executive. The NASS would have to approve his appointments and budgets!!! They can frustrate his Government if they so wish

Tinubu is even the most irrelevant one as he neither controls the executive nor the legislators!!! He is just left at the mercy of Buhari's magnanimity
you have forgoten that Saraki rejuvenate his dwindling polical career thanks to the Buhari effect in the last elections.Saraki never achieve half of what Lamido did in Jigawa and he sufered defeat for remaining in PDP
