Would anyone advise that I apply for TRV before the study permit? I would also like to make a quick trip to evaluate schools, maybe attend open house on campus, city, nightlife, and all that before deciding on a school. Its hard to rely on public ratings and reviews alone. Has anyone done this? Do they require an upfront tuition fee like the UK? I'm used to tropical climates that I had to google the least cold city in Canada and it seems like Victoria, British Columbia it is!! 1 Like |

Yaap, it depends on the school you applying to though, so, u need to make do your findings. Also, as regards the second question, that also depends on the sch, but on the average, I can say 3 months, may be less or more, so I would advice you start your processing ASAP. Danielakonic: |

Could anyone please list out schools that doesn't request for English Proficiency Test and also the ones that can work with Student Copy of my Transcript. I paid my school 27k to send my official transcript to UPEI and now they are requesting for Engish proficiency test. This is the reason why i decided to check up on other schools and i wont like to spend money sending another transcript. Thank you. |

Hello House! I just got a mail with an attachment saying my application to study has been approved but the doc does not have my name or uci number on the letter itself . I only just did my medicals on Thursday and I called the hospital today and they said I should call back at the end of the week that it usually takes 6 days to send. Also the status on my passport in vfs says it's still being processed. Please gurus in the house kindly explain I'm a bit confused and shocked ? 1 Like |

Open the approval mail PDF with Adobe Reader on a laptop or PC, not a phone or tablet. Also, approval mail usually comes before the passport dispatch mail. Lboogy: 1 Like |

Royat1:monthly costs for a single person arw about $1,012.95. You could rent a room from $500 per month. I dont know about the admission process but all i know is if you enter Canada you must marry me. |

Please any one with some useful advice for a brother... I finished my sec school in 2004 and I haven't had enough funds to finish my national diploma back then.. due to some issues I had then but I haven't been idle ever since then, worked with different companies... And presently I am planning to enroll at a college in Canada soon! I hope this wont hinder my chance of getting admitted cause of the age and years I had already finished my O level... I read something on Ontario college website about matured students and it was also stated there that "Note that if you have completed high school, even decades ago, you are still considered a high school graduate and you may not apply as a mature student" Fund is readily available. I so need reply on this asap |
