In church, at home, when people are talking about sinful behaviours you contribute diffidently because you don't feel qualified to talk about the sins of others when you are unable to overcome yours. Self-condemnation dominates your soul.

2. Social epilepsy.
You are epileptic on how to enjoy a good life away from your room. Always indoors all by yourself when everyone is outdoors meeting and making friends. Masturbation turns you to a social wreck!
Even when you are at home, neighbours are forced to think that you are out of town as a result of your reclusive lifestyle.

3. It depletes your love bank.
"No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon" (Luke 16:13).
It is true that folks who watch pornographic contents and masturbate hardly commit themselves fully to a love relationship. It's a battle between "loving" themselves and truly doing everything to love an opposite sex. Masturbation makes you feel that you can be all by yourself; no need fighting to earn the love of someone. You are divided! You don't take seriously those who love you romantically! You don't go out of your way to prove your love for an opposite sex.

4. Everyone is a sex object!
Anytime you see an attractive opposite sex, your eyes and mind immediately focus on their sexual "usefulness" to you. Loving them is a burden you can't carry. You would rather take the easy road of fantasizing about a sexual escapade with them. End it now! If you fail to end it now, your marriage will be a loveless nightmare.

5. Deadens your daily relationship with GOD.
"Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people" (Proverbs 14:34).
Masturbation doesn't stop GOD from loving you but it drives you farther away from HIS Presence. Your relationship with GOD becomes bumpy and inconsistent. Anyway this is what the devil wants! Some of you choose to stay away from church because of your sinful habits. For how long will you keep staying away? It is time to fight masturbation head-on!

September is here! I don't think you want to drag along the burden of masturbation into a fresh month. Why not allow Jesus give you a fresh start to an emotionally peaceful life?
