Amaechi needs not worry: he shall be named oil minister when Baba is tired of being on top of oil ministry. Or Amaechi shall be sent to exile as an ambassador. Being made oil minister is what is left that is comrnsurate to compensate Amaechi for sabotaging his Rivers people. Nothing else left. |

O Dottore:You have said it all man. I have always opined that for someone to say Amaechi betrayed GEJ only means the person doesn't knw the meaning of betrayal. He only wanted to be a man of his own. There might be other issues but I think the cause of the major rift was Amaechi's refusal to be teleguided by patience who wanted to call the shots for an elected governor. More so anybody who keenly watched the series of events during the fracas between the two at the initial stage would have known Amaechi honestly wanted peace but GEJ was never a man of his own so he was going by patients script. Now the chips are down and everybody thinks Amaechi is a loser but I beg to differ from that point of view. Imagined if GEJ had won the election were could Ameachi be by now? Humiliated and disgraced even without due process but atleast with PMB even if he is going to be probed atleast his fundamental human rights would be upheld. Hate him all you want I love the man's guts and confidence. The governor is not suppose to be a subordinate of Mr president or puppet but rather they re supposed to be coordinates that not meaning there wouldn't be respect since even among thieves there is honor. If you marry an illiterate woman then you make stupid decisions like Jonathan- wole soyinka 2 Likes |

AMAECHI SEE CHALLENGE, THE BLOG DON REACT TOO Amaechi Reacts To Saving Grace Reporters Publication Over His Disappointment About Buhari’s Appointment, Saving Grace Reporters Reacts Too THE immediate past governor of Rivers State, Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has disowned a report which alleged that he was disappointed by President Muhammadu Buhari over the appointment of a Secretary of the Government of the Federation (SGF). Amaechi insisted he never spoke to any media organization. In a statement released by the former governor’s media office, he described the story published by an online blog as a tissue of lies, ridiculous and meaningless. He said he holds the media in high esteem but may soon be forced to take action against those who bring the profession of journalism to disrepute by their deliberate falsehood and malicious reports. The statement reads in full: “The attention of former governor of Rivers State Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has been drawn to a story with the caption SGF: Buhari Disappointed Me – Amaechi”, published by a certain “Savinggracereporters.com”. “The story which is ridiculous as it is meaningless is a figment of the writer’s imagination and sadly flouts all the basic rules of journalism biz: fairness, accuracy and balance. “This story like so many others is a tissue of lies and fit only for the trash-can. “Since after leaving office and with the successful delivery of the change agenda to Nigerians, Former Governor Amaechi has been enjoying a well deserved rest. Hon Amaechi holds the media in high esteem but may soon be forced to take action against those who bring the profession of journalism to disrepute by their deliberate falsehood and malicious reports. “For the sake of decency and ethical conduct, Rt. Hon. Amaechi therefore demands that the said www.savinggracereporters.com immediately retract the mischief they have on their website and apologize to their readers for their unprofessional conduct. “In this era of reformation and restoration, it is important that everyone embraces propriety and decorous conduct to enable every segment of our country join the change train.” Saving Grace Reporters Reacts Saving Grace Reporters has said it published story on SGF Appointment: Buhari Disappointed Me – Amaechi was true. Speaking further Mr. Sunday said; “we did not speak to Amaechi directly, which renders his accusation against us baseless, we spoke to his aide and we stand by our report as our reporter has no reason whatsoever to lie to us. “We published the story based on what his aide told us, we have no malice towards him, and we owe him no apology” he concluded. |

IbokUtoroh:IbokUtoroh why is wike excludung his spells as local government chairman and chief of staff from the probes? Why is he hand picking projects to probe? Chew on that and give me your reply and while you're at it id have you know that Amaechi is OK as long as Jonathan and patience are out of power. Minister or no minister he's living life to the fullest, touring the best world cities, drinking the best wines. And you? Are you not a human being too? With one head like amaechi, why can't you be a minister? Or to make it easier for you, why can't you aspire to be a minister? Siddon there! |

Why is he silent on what happened to 2.8billion dolls of oil money that got missing when he was the minister of petroleum? Why is he not probing what happened to ptf n how the contracts were awarded? Why is he afraid to include obj's tenure in the armed procurement probe? Was thr no armed procurement during obj's tenure? Was thr no budgetary allocation for ministry of defence? Can u see buhari is scared n also foolish abt this kwaruption thing? |
