Seven words of wisdom for a successful September!

1. Connect!
"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour" (Ecclesiastes 4:9).

Many people are at a crossroads because of their refusal to connect to the right people. The information that will turn your life around is in someone's possession. Chat with people freely. Know what they do. Ask them about their line of work. Who are their parents? GOD won't come down from Heaven to give you an employment letter. HE connects you to a human vessel! You need GOD...and man because GOD uses men to bless men!

2. Look elsewhere!
"And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? 4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die" (2 Kings 7:3-4).

Must you die suffering where you are? Must you die in the city where you were born and raised despite your slim chances of success? If lepers could make an adventurous journey to another country in search for a better life, you, I repeat, you have no excuse!

3. Enquire!
"And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all" (1 Samuel 30v8).

Successful people always listen to the Divine inspirational voice that whispers to them day to day. When you take important steps casually you will end up a casualty of circumstances. Learn from David now!

4. Try again!
"For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief" (Proverbs 24:16).

Send out that CV again! Rewrite that business proposal and tender it once again! Call that big client and restart the negotiation! Reopen that shop you shut down because you couldn't compete! Try again and again and again! Rejection is not a death sentence...what if it was? Don't world leaders pardon people on death row? Go out now...try again!

5. Guard your honour!
"A good name is better than precious ointment..." (Ecclesiastes 7:1).

A good name can sell a bottle of "zobo" drink as Pepsi. You need to build a good image for yourself. A great image naturally attracts success! As unknown as your "small" name you are still doing notorious things with it. Small businesses are fading out quite easily today because they chase profits at the cost of good reputation. Do you now see why the big names have refused to go away?

6. Renew your mind!
"And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day" (1 Samuel 10:9).

Before king Saul would officially move into the palace, GOD gave him another heart. His mind was renewed from that of a commoner to royalty. You need to flush out the dung of self-limiting thoughts playing rugby your mind. Your mind determines how far you go in life! Some domestic dogs have been reoriented so much so that they do not eat anything save from a clean plate. Whereas some dogs can eat anywhere and anything. One has a polished mind, while the other has an expired mind.

7. Don't meddle!
"He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears" (Proverbs 26:17).

Maximize your time on yourself! One inappropriate unsolicited intrusion into other people's matter is what it takes to destroy a man's life beyond redemption. People have lost their jobs, freedom, lives, loved ones, property, businesses, reputation simply because of the sin of "AMEBO". Face your business in September!
