He's jus following the footsteps of his master Buhari who sees appointment as a means of compensating his cronies and tribes rather than giving d appointments to the capable and experienced hands.

The governor is wiser than you all here as the constitution of Nigeria did not stipulate the commissioner for women affair must be a woman .
By the way why are non Nigerians wailing on an issue you have nothing to gain or loose from .
Why not close your eyes from what happen in the north as they are better administrators than you book people with all your cult education .

you may have some valid points in your post, however isn't it but just sensible to hand over the portfolio of the women affairs ministry to a woman? Considering the fact that women are under-represented in governance by default? In your honest opinion, is it okay to handover the portfolio of the health ministry to an engineer or that of finance to a medical doctor? Obviously, a woman will have a better understanding of the issues affecting fellow women & children alike. Very few men care about these issues and definitely not a Nigerian career politician!

g once watched a mother's day or women's day program where the four panelists were men. when one woman stood up to protest, one of the female organisers explained how the 4 women initially invited refused to come as they had 'better ' things to do.

it's not men's fault that women refuse to participate in politics
but mention Nollywood sound sultan or Brazilian hair and na dem go full dia
BTW WTF is a woman's affair, I bet you can't mention one that isn't already covered by other ministries. not onewhat did last 10 ministers for women affairs do for women in last 50 yrs
una go just come here de hyper ventilate unto wetin no get meaning

how many ministers of the water have provided you water
portmanteau na grammar
any sound properly dedicated administrator can run any ministry so yes an engineer can run finance or health ministry with common sense. it is the perm secs that I'm not sure about
awolowo a lawyer ran our finances during civil war and did not borrow yet Okonjo don almost sell us into slavery
