Congrats all those that have received their visas. But for some of us that did not pay for priority, don't I have the hope of at least 20th of September?

I did not pay for priority. The process was standard. Take a look at the summary below (Uk Tier 4 PBS General (sponsored) Student):

online submission: 4th July 2017
Biometrics + Documents + Interview 6th July
Received by UKVI 7th July
Sheffield mail about ECO 17th July
Sent email to UKVI (enquiry) 28th July
Escalation 4th August
Sent another email to UKVI (enquiry) 17th August
Received decision email 18th August
Received collection email 18th August
Collected my passport 21 August

Date of decision 15th August

Result: Granted.

Thank you all.

If you may
What exactly do you mean by "escalation".

This is in reference to your timeline wherein August 4th indicated "escalation".

Thank you.

After your interview, you'll be given a document that contains your information and checklists. It is more like collection slip. You also need a form of identification carrying your picture and name as it is on your passport. That is it.

I misplaced my voter's card a few weeks ago. Will a company ID card suffice?

Hi @ laajiblik I understand why u might think my info is flaud ryt but go check and read Tru the appendix C of the immigration rule and evaluate it critically.like I said earlier it says the money must be available in the manner specified n dat the funds will remain available in such manner unless used to pay for course fee n accommodation.now u saying it says it must be available for ones use while in the UK is ryt oo,but ask urself how it's gonna be available in the UK if u do not transfer it to the UK abi but go travel leave the money for naija furthermore "must have been held is in plain English meaning at some point u must have had d funds in ur account cos if that's not the case the rule wouldn't give the grace of using the statement at least up to a month or so after uv printed it out.i guess u need to revisit the rules u read and have a rationalistic approach bro before u accuse someone of misinformation.personally I av been asked if I had d money in an interview before by an ECO and I told I'm no cos I had sent the money abroad which is within the confines of the maintenance rules and I got my visa ooo.and who told u they ask if uv got money in d account sef when they inquire
cos dey don't have d ryt aside confirming d genuity of what u submitted and ur other details.anyways I was jus trying to calm a fellow dude down cos he was tensed unnecessarily having said that we are entitled to our opinion.

LaaJiblik:
HOW CONVENIENT FOR YOU TO TRY TO JUSTIFY ILLEGALITY AND EVEN TRYING TO HOODWINK FOLKS HERE BY SAYING THE RULES WERE WRITTEN IN THE PAST TENSE FORMAT.

YOU DECIDED TO IGNORE THE PART OF THE RULE WHICH SAYS THE MAINTENANCE MONEY MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR USE WHILE IN THE UK.

Please, my brother/sister: Stop propagating illegality and misinformation here.

Thank you.

You can't blame La'Jibik. In as much as I kinda understand your point in your earlier post, the phrasing came across as being fraudulent. Anyone without prior knowledge of the T4 laws might not understand what you meant.
No one says you can't use the money for fees or maintenance in the UK - That's the purpose of the funds in your account. You made it sound like it was okay to, let's say, 'borrow' money to fund the account for 28 days, then withdraw it and return to source since the 28 day goal has been achieved.
Maybe you should be clearer when you post in future to prevent a case where people get the wrong information as per funds.
In any case, the right thing to do would be to wait to have your visa before initiating any further fee payments, transferring the money in your account to the UK or withdrawing from it to purchase $/£ from the black market amongst other reasons. This would ensure that you aren't for any reason considered fraudulent if at any point, further checks are required on your finances.

You can only get an escalation when you've made a request and the contact you spoke to has little or no reasonable information for you.

You are very right and I like the fact that you came back with this response. The guy just asked the question innocently without any intent I guess. I also think that the fact that the money was borrowed at that point does not mean the intending student does not or will not have the money to sustain him Oversea. A lot of people are privileged but the vast majority is actually trying to pool all they have together. They may not be liquid with a large sum at once doesn't meant they can't get funds from family for that purpose provided they are certain to have an inflow monthly while abroad.

I'm sorry but you are misleading people here, that money is not to be withdrawn after 28days, it has to be available to you in the UK.

Please can we stop encouraging illegality here?

Hello House,

I have a friend that was rejected and banned from applying into canada for 5years, Now the person wants to apply for the tier4 visa, what are d advice you would give the person? should the person be truthful when asked if he has been banned and what country he was banned from or its totally not necessary cos he won't be asked?.

Thanks,
