Give me light, I will pay my bills. Make it 24/7 pls. NEPA bills will always be economical compared to powering and maintaining ur generator. |

I am not against an increase in electricity tarriff, afterall power generation cost more even in some developed countries. what I cannot, and will never tolerate from PHCN or whatever name they answer now, is the practice of estimated billing. I rather use generator set daily than to be billed for what I did not consume, PHCN/FG, make prepaid meters available for purchase and use. we are willing to buy. |

some ignorant ppl saying dat Buhari has given them constant power should know that power is now in the hands of real businessmen courtesy of GEJ. Nothing is free. u better take dis opportunity to start small business instead of staying at home watching film all day and shouting sai buhari, u will soon be cut off if u cant pay. 1 Like |

I'm sure if you go through some posts on Nairaland especially the politics section, you will see some good works that he has started doing, like the war on corruption etc etc. No need wasting my time explaining to a Wailing wailer. |

We were very glad when PHCN brought free prepaid meters to åll of us in my estate. They fixed it for free, gave us free 40 units. Omo, we were really happy cuz during Gej' s time, we paid n wasn't given meter. Now, the problem is dat we didnt know we håve entered One Chance. My neighbour exhausted theirs within 5 days n they can't recharge cuz they still owe Phcn about 380k. Phcn said they r to pay d money or no recharging again. They been on generator, totally fraustrated. Since we heard their story, its been, no a/c, no washing machine, no hotplate, microwave na off åll lights. Infact, my estate is now almost total darkness at night. Everybody economizing. For those owing PHCN, be prepared, once prepared meter is launched, omo, u must vomit åll their money or else ur light will trip off after u consume d 40units. Its now a bait. |

It's no lie that electricity has improved of recent. Inasmuch as the PMB government is being lauded for its fierce effort in pulling this changes, consideration should be place on the proposed tarriff hike. Why can't Nigerians just enjoy something good from the govt at no cost? 1 Like |

It is clearly either the govt is confused or the media is giving out wrong information... I clearly remember it was just last month the FG ordered Nerc to slash tariff being charged consumers so what exactly is going on here?? D govt jus kips contradicting itself time and time again. |

It leaves me to wonder why Seun is so complacent about this worrisome trend. OldJohn: Those are the pains of childbirth. We are going to give birth to a new Nigeria, and before that happens we all need to go through the pains of childbirth. I am not only blaming Jonathan but all past leaders that have contributed to the mess we are in today. I think Jonathan's main problem was that he was a weak leader even though I think he had good intentions. |
